Albergo La Quiete

After four years this was our second visit. Staff and Family are very friendly. The rooms are large with air conditioning. Breakfast was continental croissant and cold meats with cheese or yoghurt. The pizza restaurant is a convenient bonus. We chose not to hire a car instead relied on buses which were very convenient for Sirmione and Desenzano. Bus stops are close and convenient. Around Lake Garda payment is accepted on the bus in cash. No need to get a ticket in advance from a Tabac. On the other hand local buses tend to be late due to traffic, particularly in the east near Peschiera del Garda. The best and most enjoyable way to get round the lake is by ferry and we used the service at some time on five days out of seven.
