Brilliant food and atmosphere here, eight of us had a great time.
Lots of choice on the menu and excellent service.
We had a wide variety between us and all were happy with their selection.
 
Not to be missed if you are in the area.

We just spent 2 weeks at Cantinone.  What an extremely pleasurable experience!  The grounds are so lovely and  the accommodations are so comfortable.  The atmosphere is very homey, thanks to the presence of 2 affectionate kitties and 3 chatty chickens.  I highly recommend a stay here.  There is so much to do in the area - we were busy for the whole time we stayed there.  The Marches region is absolutely lovely.  The best part is that our experiences abounded with the locals - this is not a heavily touristed area.

We stayed with Jane and Ian in middle September 2016.....because of other commitments we couldn't stay more than 2 nights...we definitely intend to return for a week in 2017......their welcome and hospitality were first rate. Tha house and accommodation are excellent....drinks in the courtyard and dinner in the lounge/dining room just what weary travelers needed. Breakfast by the pool in this rural haven suited us very well. Jane and Ian offered excellent advice about what to do in the area...they are clearly 'locals'. Particularly worth considering are the Grotte di Frasissi...world class cave systems...and that's from a professor of geography!...and the nearby Ristorante Erard...much enjoyed!

We went this year back to Cantinone, because it was so good last year. The appartments are super, especially if you hire both appartments with 2 families, because then you have a private pool, terrace and BBQ place. Jane and Ian are very nice and helpfull (sometimes even too helpfull).

We returned to our favourite place in Cupramontana for a special celebration. On arrival we were greeted by Jane and Ian who showed us to our stunning and full of character room. The room was fabulous and very comfortable. 
The weather was wonderful so after a refreshing and much needed swim in the clean and welcoming pool, we dined on the terrace which looked lovely with pretty planters against the green backdrop. 
We spent the rest of our stay enjoying the sights and culinary delights of Le Marche.
Jane and Ian are always available to advise on the delights of the area but are happy to leave you to relax as well.
