We spent 2 weeks at Il Borgo di Gebbia. It is not a B&B any more but rather a vacation rental property. It was fabulous for the 3 couples that traveled together. A quiet place at the end of a day to watch the sunset with stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. The hosts, Lori and Merino are wonderful people and if you are lucky enough you might even meet Lori’s mom (known to all as Nona). The house is well equipped with a commercial grade stainless steel kitchen. There are 5 bedrooms, each with private bathrooms. The walk-out lowest floor has the kitchen, sitting area and dining area. The middle floor has the entry foyer and 3 bedrooms. The top floor has 2 bedrooms, each if an outdoor sitting area. There is also a small swimming pool. This is an excellent location for multiple guest groups as the house is rented in its entirety so the more rooms filled the lower the cost per room. Almost all “tourist” Tuscan locations are within an hour’s drive, easily accessible on a good road system.
