We stayed in a small apartment for 4 at Casa Vacanze Poggio delle Rose, which is somehow part of The Pietriccia. The bedrooms had big windows and gorgeous south views over Tuscan hills, and there was a beautiful, peaceful little balcony also drenched in sun, so perfect in October. We love dogs, and beside our balcony was the balcony of sweet Bella and Sophie who welcomed us home in the evening; we didn't mind if they barked now and then. The family was very generous and looked after us well. There is no livingroom, but we found we didn't need one as we spent all our time at "home" on the little balcony, or eating dinners in the garden below, or reading on the sunny bed. A lovely place to stay.
