Residence Petit Tibet

This accommodation was great for us and it was cheap compared to other residencies in Cervinia. Although the building itself isn't the prettiest on the mountain the rooms are very clean and have the bacis you need, 2 ring hob fridge and bacis utensils for the kitchen etc bedding etc is extra Local supermarket as you would expect from a ski resort and is very expensive. We stopped off on the way up from the airport to stocked up and it was half the price. Nicola whom ones and runs the apartments is wonderful on or way up to resort we got stuck in a hurendous snow storm, the snow chains that were provided we couldn't fit for dear life after a quick phone call to Nicola he has jumped in his car and drove down to save us. Good job he discovered the hire company gave us the wrong ones..... RIGHT THE MOST IMPORTANT PART SKI IN AND OUT SKI OUT Turn right as you come out of the apartments up the side and round the back you can then put yous ski on follow the back of the apartments this will take you out at the bottom of red 16 SKI BACK this is possible but not for the novice as it is off pest. Head along red 13 just before you go under the chair lift there is a sign on the right saying residence turn off here and head along till you reach a red ski pole. Turn left and head down towards the apartments. If this is a bit daunting go to the bottom of red 16 and follow the road back up this will take about 10 min walk. If you are unable to get onto red 13 due to lifts being closed there is a local bus that runs about every half a hour from the clock in town that will cost apron €1.10 each. If you fancy taking a walk in to Cervinia this will take a aproximently 20 mins to get down to and about 30 mind to get back up, but there is always the bus if you don't fancy the walk.
