Fantastic
156 reviewsVenice is sinking. Not just into the water but into the pit of mass tourism. We come as a family at least once a year to Villa Lina (this time I was on my own). Why do we come? Today everywhere starts to feel the same as so many places cater for the mass tourists who want spaghetti bolognese, tiramisu and lemoncello to eat and a standard room to stay in. We don’t want that - we want what Villa Lina offers: * the most welcoming hostess in Venice * spotless rooms * great breakfast * the chance to stay in a glorious old building next to that disappearing thing a still functioning glass makers Here you can still find charm and style. Experience it while you can - soon there will be nothing like this left in Venice. Grazie, John
