138 reviewsJust returned from this Hotel (26/05/2017) This hidden gem is around 2 hours south of Naples. My Mother wanted to go back to the childhood memories she spent her summer's growing up in Eboli. Casal Velino (Paestum) was an annual trip for the summer, the whole family had many happy years coming here. This was my first trip, it didn't disappoint. Hotel situated right on the beach front, the room was beautiful & simple, clearly undergone recent renovations. The staff from the cook, maid service, Importantly the waiting staff lead by Luigi was second to none. The service from Luigi, Stefano, Luca and Alessandro was professional warm courteous, nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, 4 courses each evening, the breakfast was good. My only negative would be that the meal times be altered to cater for early risers like myself, all meal times except lunch were 8/9.30. Suffice to say if you are looking for a quiet intimate location try this hotel, you won't be disappointed. If you enjoy water sport Bike hire the hotel cater's for the energetic whatever your age.
