28 reviewsI fell in love with this wonderful b&b on first sight! We were met by Marinella, the hostess and she was so warm and friendly and welcomed us into our room, she gave us so much information and showed us all the key places to visit in Bologna, explaining in great detail how to get to places, how long it would take to walk ect... We had the room named Spiritosa which had a private bathroom and balcony, the room was so spacious, clean and decorated in Italian decor it felt so homely and me and my partner felt really happy with our choice of venue. Our room and bathroom were cleaned every day and always looked spotless, Marinella asked us what we liked to eat for breakfast and there was always so much choice, we really were spoilt! The kitchen was available for us to use when we wanted to make hot drinks, lunch or evening meals. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony very sunny from 10 am til 5pm each day! Bologna is a wonderful city with plenty to see and do and of course lots of delicous foods to eat! We loved the guided city bus tour and the guided walking tour walking tour which were really informative and cheap to do. The Piazza is a wonderful place to spend time sitting with a coffee just watching all the wonderful people pass by. San Petronio Basilica is magnificent and is a must to go in and see.The San Luca express train was also mesmerising to visit. I have never been to Italy before but I am hooked now and cant wait to visit more of Italy! I would definitely recommend Bologna (just be warned it is a very busy place with people and cars) but its an amazing place to visit and i definitely would go again! I would love to stay at Casa Della Zia again too! Thank you Marinella for your wonderful hospitality and kindess, we are sending a gift to you in the post.
