B&B Le Cale

We had the opportunity to stay in this beautiful B&B in Santa Maria Navarrese. Our room was super clean, modern and comfortable. The staff was very kind. There was a good variety at breakfast, with some local delicacies, and a great coffee that tastes like it was made at a cafe bar! We arrived late at night, with no difficulty checking in as we agreed the timing beforehand and the staff was there ready to welcome us with a smile. Even if it was late, they took the time to explain where we were and what we could do in addition to the basics regarding our room and breakfast for the next day. It was nice and quiet and we were able to rest peacefully. The next day we scheduled our 3 day visit. They helped us a lot, by booking different moments for us. We took a day boat tour which took us to remote exotic beaches that you cannot always reach easily by foot and definitely not by car. The day after we went to the local beach in the morning and then another tour with a tour bus ‘trenino’, it seemed that we went back in time. A tour of the ancient lands with so much history to tell. We learned quite a few interesting things about the Sardinians. It does not end here, because they advised us on local restaurants and various beaches to visit both by foot and by car. The food is excellent wherever you go and they treat tourists with great respect. During the trip my daughter was stung by a jellyfish. I had never experienced this before but the B&B immediately assisted us by contacting a doctor and helping us to go to the nearest pharmacy. She was soon ok and we were able to continue our vacation. Staff was extra nice to ask how she was doing the next day and if they could help us in any way. Beautiful trip, warm and caring people, and a pretty beach town overlooking the sea!
