We stayed in a 1 bed apartment and it was perfect, plenty of space and the patio space was fantastic. Francesco keeps the grounds looking really tidy and beautiful and was always on hand with his dog 'Shaggy' to answer any questions. It was 15 minute walk in to Bardolina, we had no issues with this as the lake road can be busy and many hotels look on to the road, where as Villa Maddalena is slighlty up the hill and really quiet and beautiful! We took full advantage of the free bikes that Francesco provides and rode to Garda and Lazise. We had a few bad dinners in Bardolina and Garda so Francesco recommended a lovely place 5 mins away - Ristorante Arca 5* but book as its popular - the view is special! We enjoyed staying in the apartment and cooking for ourselves a few nights aswell. Francesco's Villa made our holiday really special and the little touches, like a honesty bar and the bottle of wine was lovely! We went to Venice for the day - well worth it! Thank you Francesco - a fabulous stayed and we loved our apartment! 5*
