We stayed for a week in The Dovecote apartment - which was very spacious for the two of us. The apartment was very clean and tidy - just the right side of rustic! It had everything we needed for our self-catering stay. The mountain views from the three sides of the apartment were all spectacular. Pietro who welcomed us and who we saw throughout our stay was very friendly and helpful. The characterful property is surrounded by lush gardens (with two cute bunnies!) and vineyards - their own wine is available to purchase at a very reasonable price - we thoroughly recommend the reds! We ate in the restaurant which had lots of choice, great service and was very good quality. The buzz of the restaurant clientele was gentle background noise in the apartment and did not disturb us at all. Town is a short walk away, but there are city bikes to borrow to get you there a bit quicker. There is a large supermarket close by. Parking is available on site.
