180 reviewsVisited Lake Garda in the middle of September and had a fantastic stay at the Garni al Frantoio. Unfortunately the weather was unseasonably cool and cloudy so we didn't get to use the fantastic swimming pool which was a real shame as I can imagine it would be a lovely place to while the day away! The rooms are comfortable, although maybe a little basic, completely adequate though. The breakfast was fantastic - lovely fresh croissants and bread with lots of different jams to choose from, a great range of cereals and fruit, yoghurts, cakes and the usual cheese and meats selection that you would expect. All ingredients seemed to be locally sourced and very fresh. Best of all there is a juicing machine with with which you can make your own freshly squeezed orange juice and a smoothie maker. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. If you want somewhere a little way away from the hustle and bustle but a short journey away from the lake I'd highly recommend this place! Will definitely be returning in the future, and hoping for better weather!
