Residence RivaChiara

Just back from an amazing holiday in Riva, Lake Garda and really enjoyed our stay at Residence Rivachiara. We were made welcome from the moment we first arrived at the Hotel Riviera while checking in and then we were taken personally to the Residence Rivachiara and shown all the facilities, parking space, bike storage area that are included with your booking. The apartment was very clean, modern in its decor and spacious, with a double bedroom to the rear, large open living space with sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen except washing machines, which was located on the ground floor. we had two balconies, front and back so you can sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. From the moment you arrive at Residence Riviera you become very aware of how clean and well maintained the whole of apartment complex is kept and from the basement car park there is a lift to all floors which is ideal. The pool area was clean and well looked after, it was very cold to start with but you got used to it. plenty of seating areas to relax and enjoy the sunshine, table tennis table with bats and balls free to use, which we did and become a bit competitive as the holidays progressed. Location is 15 mins walk to CO-OP for all your food shopping needs, 20 mins walk to the lake and 30 mins walk to harbour area of Riva. We hired bikes direct from the hotel and used these every day to get around. The only improvement I would recommend would be for more glasses for beers/wines/soft drinks. Fantastic experience and we will return, and from a selfish point of view I would like to keep this little gem of an apartment complex to ourselves and not post a review but the staff and Residence Rivachiara/ Hotel Riviera well deserve a 5 star review.
