58 reviewsI'm writing this review in English for the benefit of many foreigners who visit our beautiful country every year and unfortunately are not aware of many remote paradise spots like this. Well let me tell you that places like " Il casale del Forno " make me proud of being italian. I had never been in Salento before. This was my first experience and it was simply perfect. The place itself is absolutely fabulous. Rooms are extremely clean and cosy and the hosts Daniela and Giuseppe are wonderful: always ready to give you advices on whatever you might need, from the best spots to go sunbathing to the timing of local celebrations and festivities. The welcome appetizer with typical focaccia and "friselline" and the breakfast with home made cakes and jams prepared by Daniela were delicious. Believe me staying at Casale del forno is an unmissable experience if you decide to visit those places.
