BB Campo Del Mare

Me, my husband and our two children stayed in Campo del Mare for one week and spent here beautiful holiday. We were really satisfied and felt very good. I appreciate all effort of Federica and her family. I fully encourage this B&B to all who wish to spend their holiday in calm and peaceful place far away from big cities and traffic. Great place for relax. The region provides also possibilities for hiking, visiting nice small towns and villages without tourists nearby this place. Beaches are also very nice and the sea is beautiful.

We had an excellent stay that started with very clear and accurate directions to Campo del Mare.  Keep an eye open for the red telephone booth. That is a key to entering the right road. Fredrica gave us a warm and enthusiastic welcome and has put her special and personal touch in decorating the rooms.  Breakfast was outstanding with organic yoghurts, a wide selection of jams and a different cake each morning.  Don’t think of cake as in sweet and what you would have at tea time in South Africa, but think of the excellent Italian variety that is delicious as breakfast. The breakfast room has the most beautiful view over the country side and we even saw hares while we were enjoying breakfast.

Fredrica kept us enthused about the area and guided us to good places to visit and to have supper.

We stayed at the Campo del mare B&B close to Sirolo about 15 minutes by car from Ancona just underneath Monte Conero. The location is amazing, very green and peaceful with hardly any cars driving by, hidden but not hiding the beautiful views towards the Marchean landscapes. The apartment we stayed in had two bedrooms, living room and a bathroom all beautifully decorated with amazingly preserved old and new furniture and equipment. In the living area one wall was covered with bookshelves full of travel books and literature. In the same area we had breakfast in the morning since it was in March and it would have been too cold to make use of the veranda in the garden. Breakfast was amazing, including three types of cake a great selection of jams, freshly squeezed orange juice and a generous supply of coffee and tea. Federica was very friendly and she did her outmost to make us feel welcomed, which was not hard because the B&B has a very inviting and homely atmosphere. The price we paid was very fair and I would definitely suggest Campo del mare for anyone who would like to stay close to Ancona but outside of the city, or who would like to spend some time in the beautiful Marche. It could also be ideal for two couples spending their holiday together.
