Casetta Minghitto

The house owner Luigi A. has put three rooms for rent on his family property on AnaCapri. He has done a great job of separating his personal side of the property he lives on from the renters. The compound and the rooms are spotless, the garden is small but full of lovely lemon and orange trees. The place has all necessary conveniences including clean bathrooms, lovely beds and is quite private. It’s a perfect way to experience this lovely island; away from the bustle of the commercial and much more expensive town of Capri itself, which is easily reachable by bus (or taxi if u want to splurge). The Blue grotto and Monte Solaro r within walking distance. There r great hiking trails in the area which r easily reachable from the house. We found this to be a great way to experience life on the island. And I can’t say enough good things about Luigi, the owner; all the things others before us have written on TripAdvisor about this wonderful man are absolutely true. He is a native going back generations. As a result he knows the entire island and it’s culture extremely well. He is very helpful, honest and goes out of his way to provide guidance to have his guests enjoy time on his ancestral land. One of the best way to enjoy the island is to stay at Casa M. unless u must have five star luxury all the time.
