25 reviewsOur host greeted us warmly and set the tone for our stay at Trattoria San Rocco which was as comfortable as it was attractively appointed. The bedroom looked like it was recently remodeled, with comfortable beds, great closet space, good lighting, and plenty of outlets to recharge our phones. The bathroom was large and modern, with a heated drying rack and wonderful shower. There was a good sized sitting room with comfortable furniture. The restaurant downstairs was fantastic – great food and service. The apartment is upstairs so no restaurant noise or odors (though they would have been welcome!) creeped into the space. The building is in an excellent location, close to the center of town and near the glass museum which looks amazing but was unfortunately closed when we arrived. Thanks to Claudio Simonetti who maintains a website that lists lodging options along the Alta Via dei Monti Liguria, and who helped us get there after our day’s hike.
