The warm welcome of the host made us immediately feel at home. It was something very natural and effortless in her communication with us, and this familiarity highlighted our stay in Alberobello. Location - We have chosen this place based on excellent value for money, excellent quality of service and the place itself and based on our desire to experience a bit of Pugliese agriturismo, while still being close to the town. The countryside is amazing and charming, the house stands on a large property with olive groves and vegetables garden, free parking space is offered in their courtyard. The only downside we experienced was that there are around 800m till town center, and a portion of about 300m is on a road which is not lit at night. However, even if we walked by foot to town and back both days, we highlight that the area seemed very safe and the traffic on the road was very low, so in the end, it was no problem for us. Of course, should you not drink, you could drive yourself to town. Room - The owners, who live on the property, rent a room at the first floor of their charming house, which is very beautifully decorated and offers the greatest comfort. We had an exceptional rest in the quite countryside, in this idyllic surroundings. Breakfast - It was the richest breakfast offered throughout our two week vacation in Puglia. Our host delighted us with several local pastries, introduced us to the delicious pasticiotto, and even made omelette with tomatoes from their garden, apart from a wide selection on fruits, yogurts and sweets. We felt really cared for. Breakfast on their generous terrace was also a delightful experience. The host - We thank her truly for making us feel so comfortable in their home. She showed such familiarity and hospitality, even if we struggled a bit with the language barrier and we explored our poor Italian speaking resources :) She offered all necessary guidance we needed for our stay in the area, being very prepared with all useful recommendations for dinner , and it all came effortlessly from her heart.
