We were 3 friends from Hungary staying in Agrigento for 3 nights. The house was clean, modern with a very nice layout. The beds very comfortable and the room was very well furnished. The owner is a very hospitable and kind lady who even helped us with our little problems  - such as finding a gym nearby.
Also MAX!! An adorable cat :)

It would have been nice to be able to use the kitchen for cooking, but apart from that everything was really perfect with the apartment.

For those who love Antiquity, Agrigento offers a lot as well as the surroundings. It can be a place from where to visit also Syracuse or other mithycal places of Sicily. If you want a perfect trip, interaction with locals, then Antonia Cassaro and A Casa di Max offers you the best place to stay. Antonia and her husband are warmful people, very attentive and their house, the rooms make you feel at home. A delicious breakfast, full of local flavors is served in the morning in a very spiritual atmosphere by beautiful dishes. Agrigento has very good restaurants and your hosts will guide you with everything you will eventually need.

Central and close to the temples. Breakfast was fantastic, good selection of treats. We found the room we stayed in a bit bare but that's not important if your aim is to see the sights. The rest of the apartment is lovely. And the hostess is very friendly and accommodating.

Very friendly welcome in this nicely decorated, calm & modern appartment 10 walking minutes from the historic center. Although a bit difficult to find, there is free parking very close by and a small supermarket in the same building where you can buy what you need for the day. Very special breakfast with Italian/Sicilian specialties (if you expect a standard continental breakfast you won't be satisfied... :-) surrounded by the warm and friendly Antonia. The only small drawback: warm water in the shower is slow to come (as it is a big appartment block). Superbe view on the temple valley. Definitely worth staying there!

Good: 
The property is a short uphill walk from both the train and bus stations. The room, which is tastefully decorated, has a great view of the valley of the temples and beyond.
Bad:
This is a room in a 7th floor flat where the owner lives with a Persian cat, so if you have an allergy to cats, like my wife has, then avoid this place, because within a short period of time my wife had breathing problems, due to an inflamed throat, runny nose and itchy eyes for several days. The floors were dirty with dust and cat hairs, and the bathroom was very poorly lit, so even a simple task like putting in contact lenses or adding make-up becomes a problem. The shower was a joke, it has no pressure, the water runs hot and cold, and the towels provided are like large dishcloths. You'll also need to be near the kitchen to get a decent wifi signal.
