The Valley

The Valley apartments is amazing for many reasons.

The Valley comprises three separate rooms in an apartment in Agrigento. The rooms are perfectly separated without interefering the one with the other. 

The size of the rooms is big and they are extremely clean.

The location of the apartments is very convenient being close to the city center which is ideal for a good walk.

The most amazing though is the owner who is extremely helpful to anything you ask for.

First - this was the most interesting of the 4 B&Bs we stayed in during our 8 days in Sicily. The family that runs it does not live here while in operation, but you clearly get the feeling they have lived here - it has that family feel to it - not a bad thing. "The Valley" is in a more recent building (that means built since WWII) and very new inside and upgraded - especially the bath rooms.

The B&B is high on a hill in Agrigento - at night the temple complex (the reason you go here) is illuminated and easily seen from the B&B balcony.  There are 2 rooms - ours was a 2 bedroom suite with it's own spacious and great bath.  Breakfast was typical Sicilian (no eggs/bacon!!) and served up by the owner.

One suggestion - to find this place you should put in the actually GPS coordinates. The street number is a challenge - this address is 317A - putting in 317 gets you about 500 meters down the street in the opposite direction - no idea why, but if you go back through the roundabout from 317 you'll find 317A in an apartment building.

This very classy B & B sits in an apartment block which with its large balcony gives visitors a fantastic panoramic view of all the temples in the Valley of Temples ( they are illuminated at night so another bonus). The facilities are first class and free parking available outside in a quiet street. The owner Salvatore was absolutely wonderful to us and made a big difference to our stay. Access to the temples is straightforward by car.

We were so fortunate to reserve a 2 bedroom suite overlooking the valley of temples. The hosts greeted us and made us feel at home quickly. Their hospitality surpassed our expectations . We have never experienced this. The place is lovely and the furnishings and appointments are that of a 5star+. The view of the valley at daytime and nighttime is breathtaking. 
Every amenity is here including unusually powerful binoculars. Do not hesitate to give this brand new place a try. 

Excellent location near to the Valley Temples and to the old town. Besides just near there are many Bar, Restaurants and Patisseries. The B&B is an apartment inside a good apartment building at the 6th floor from where you have a wonderful landscape to the Valley Temples and to the sea. The room is good and the bathroom is good too and are very well soundproof. The breakfast is good. The owner Salvatore is really very nice and friendly. He was the most fun owner that we met in all our travel and we talked with him with a lot of pleasure taking our time. Besides his suggestions were very helpful to us for planning in the best way our visit.
