Travelled to Marettimo island from mainland Trapani - approx 90 mins. Met by staff who took our bags to the residence so that we could take the short walk. Beautiful remote island but busy little village with plenty of choice for restaurants and bars. Well defined paths for walking around the coast and across through lovely woodland. Residence had very friendly staff who were helpful. Apartment clean with everything we needed - small kitchen area even. Beautiful gardens and well maintained with small plunge pools. Loved it. Breakfast was good and beautifully presented in an area of the gardens. Supports sustainable living. Rather quiet with very few residents during our stay which was a surprise. Would love to return.
