Had a great time Karen couldn’t do enough for us would definitely use lismar guesthouse again

It's very well located and easily parked without paying.The treat is nice.We've been twice and the rooms are spacious, cozy and clean, with fridge, microwave and tea service.They offer you 2 bottles of welcome water.The breakfast is very complete, can be English-style although there are also freshly cut fruit, toast, cereals and cookies.

I would definitely recommend this B&B. The owner and staff were lovely and very helpful. The location is really central and just a short walk to the centre of town. The breakfasts were amazing and the room was very comfortable. We also had a small fridge and microwave in the room. It is an older building but it is clean and comfortable and great value for money.

Great Stay

Lovely stay. Very nice people. Comfortable room with fridge and microwave. A first for us in a b and b, i must say. Tasty breakfast and plenty of it. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Nice bathroom and the shower was quite powerful. Good experience all round.

We had a great time at the Lismar, everyone was very friendly and made us very welcome This is a lovely Guest House I would reccommend it very clean and a beautiful Breakfast and very reasonably price

Weekend Break

My arrival was intresting as key in door didnt work young girl managed to eventually get keycard to work . I wentvout for food came back and again key didnt work . No one in reception rang the mobile number on the door 4 times and no reply. I ended up sitting in my car for hour then frontroom of house for 20 minutes before girl came back to get room open again . So had to stay in room all night for fear door would not open again . Then at 1245am there was a roaring session with young lads shouting and stomping around place . Eventually tot back to sleep at aprox 330.

Not impressed

Went To Ireland With My Mum For My Uncles Funeral Needed A Room And Actually Cannot Complain It Was Spotless.

The bnb is very dated and room was quite dirty with limescale covering the shower head and the inside of the kettle. I was awoken just before midnight by guests having an extremely loud party next door blaring music through a speaker and screaming at the top of their lungs. I rang the bnb’s number three times with no answer. I then had to get up get changed and go downstairs and complain about the noise, on my way back to my room I discovered that neither of my room keys were working and I then had to go back down and have them replaced. After finally getting back to sleep I was woken up again at twenty to one in the morning by the same group, frustrated and exhausted I went down to the check in area once again and knocked on the door for about five minutes until a man came out and I told him the noise had started back again, and if there was any possibility I could change rooms he informed me there wasn’t and sternly told me to ‘Go back to bed’. As I had to be up early the next morning, I got very little sleep and needless to say I will not be returning to this bnb.

Only stay if desperate

stayed two nights the first i arrived very late very basic room that needed updating the kettle was filthy and unfit for use
i stayed a second night but was told i had to have a different room this room was dirty and smelled dusty with broken furniture somebody had ripped off the wardrobe doors 
there was a sink electric hob combination which couldn’t be safe and a fridge that was so noisy i unplugged it  
the lady owner was about as welcoming as a bear with toothache i was offered breakfast but a glimpse into the kitchen to see a man cutting he’s finger nails and the lack of hygiene it put me off
in the night it was so noisy i at one point i thought about sleeping in my car 
the tv had no reception 

cheap for a reason

Easy check-in, great breakfast, comfy rooms, near the city, across the road busstop and Tesco
