My mum and I have just returned from 2 nights at this lovely guesthouse. We got a warm welcome from Davie when we arrived and were shown to our twin room. The room looked and smelt really clean and fresh and was so cosy and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided - especially loved the Arran Aromatics bathroom products! Breakfast was great - plenty of tea and coffee and a full cooked breakfast on offer (if you want it!). The guesthouse is in a great location being on a country road between Ballyshannon and Rossnowlagh beach, so easy to get to both. Davie has plenty of helpful advice about places to visit in the surrounding area and was so keen to help we really felt like members of his family. We really enjoyed our few days in Donegal and highly recommend this as a place to stay! Many thanks Davie and Rosie

Just spent two nights in this beautiful B&B.  We were made to feel very welcome.  The rooms were spotless, the bed very comfy, the shower very hot!  We loved the breakfast, full Irish with the best black pudding ever!  There was a good choice of cooked items, plus cereals, yogurts, fruit and unlimited tea, coffee and toast.  We are fairly frequent visitors to this area and I know we will be back to stay here.  Thanks Davie and Rosie

Booked at short notice and delighted that I did choose to stay here. Although arriving late after a long day on the road in horrendous weather we were met with the most pleasant and easy going hosts in Rosie and Davie. Our check in was seamless and swift and we were shown to our room. The room was warm, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean with all necessities. After a comfortable nights sleep the breakfast was excellent with a great variety of choice. I had a full Irish and was glad I did because it was excellent and the breakfast room was spacious and well laid out with a nice fire burning. I’ve been a frequent visitor to this part of the country and will definitely stay again. Great value, lovely hosts and a great location. Davie even managed to talk my nine year old son into some sausages for breakfast!

Heron's Cove is a beautiful place to stay. Our hosts Davie and Rosie gave the place a homely feel and provided an excellent breakfast to start us on our way the next day. They helped by booking a restaurant and even organizing our transport to and from. I highly recommend staying here.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to Davie, Rosie and Laura for all that they did for us at our recent stay in Heron's Cove. The accommodation is absolutely outstanding and beautiful and offers real value for money. We were treated wonderfully well by Davie and Rosie from the moment that we arrived until the moment we left and they really could not have done, anymore for us. They are lovely people with very warm hearts and they made our stay in Ballyshannon a truly fantastic experience. As the organiser of the trip I would like to say a massive thank you for your welcome and for treated us exceptionally well, sorry about getting you out of your bed Davie. Thanks once again and I will definitely see you again very soon.

Stayed at Heron's Cove with 15 friends during the Ballyshannon Folk Festival. Davie and Rosie couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were spotless and the hospitality amazing. Would highly recommend staying here if in the area.

Lovely b&b. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. David and Rosie were lovely people. Breakfast was lovely and a good variety to suit all. Very clean and tidy. Definitely recommend and we will be back.

I travelled with a group of girls for a hen & we attended the Sea Sessions festival. As the organiser, I dealt with Rosie numerous times over the phone and she was very helpful & patient with all the changes. We met Davie when we arrived & he was just as helpful! There was no problem using our rooms extra early to get ready & he also organised a taxi to and from Bundoran which his only a 10 minute drive. Another nice touch was a bottle of water outside each of our rooms when we arrived home. The bnb itself is very spacious, comfortable rooms & nicely decorated. The staff were also very polite & friendly. I wish Davie,Rosie & Herons Cove every success & will definitely be booking again if I'm in the area.

We were on a hen and Rosie & Davie could not have been nicer to us! We even had bottles of water waiting outside our doors when we came home, as if the fairies new our heads would be better for it in the morning - and they were!  It was also perfect to be in a beautiful country location just minutes from Bundorren, so we avoided the all night auto traffic and late night resellers.  I would definitely stay here again - beautiful place run by beautiful, authentic people!

My sons and I visited the Rory Gallagher Tribute Festival in Ballyshannon in 2019. We stayed here 5 nights. The rooms and breakfast were nice. What topped it all were Davi and Rosie. Such lovely people! They went out of their way (also literally, they took the car out to pick us up and drop us off) to cater to our every need.

If and when we will revisit the festival I know where we'll be staying!

Dave and Rosie make you part of the family at this beautiful B&B near the surfing beaches of  Rossnowlagh. Lovely room and friendly staff and plenty of advice and direction on how to spend your day nearby. Breakfast is the only meal served but there are plenty of pubs and restaurants within a five or ten minute drive. The local scenery is spectacular and the sun actually shone on occasion.
