Great place for a short stay.  Clean, functional. As other reviewers have suggested,  even though over a bar, no ambient noise.  However,  if you are a poor sleeper,  don't get a room at the front, over the busy main road.

Personally,  I am not a fan of continental breakfast,  but there seemed to be a great range of cereals and other items. They very kindly made me poached eggs and my husband beans on toast, which was much appreciated. Coffee is excellent too.

We'll be back. Great value too, in these mad times. 

The service was excellent, friendly staff. The room was very comfortable for the four of us. Nice local bar downstairs but didn't affect us in the room at all.
Supervalu, restaurant, coffee shop and hairdressers nearby. Park and ball place close proximity. Freshly cooked breakfast and whatever tea and toast you want.
Only small complaint I have is there could be a bit more choice for breakfast like croissants, cheese, latte or espresso but other than that, brilliant spot.
Very accommodating staff, I needed toast for my little one when we arrived because it was late and there was no problem at all. We will definitely be back, excellent value for money as well
 

We loved our stay at Moran's! The staff were so friendly and great at giving advice and tips on things to do, places to see. Good atmosphere with having the bar downstairs. Perfect for what we were looking for!

I stayed here Friday night gone. Was greeted at the door by friendly male owner. Room was modern,clean,cosy bed. Bathroom was quite big with large shower. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and made to order. I had received instant replys to any queries prior to staying here so very good communication.
The only thing I would say against it are the curtains in room 2 were practically see through so the light shone directly into my face early and id recommend asking for a room at the back of building as the road out front is very busy+noisy for a light sleeper. Id definitely stay here again though.

Room was adjoining family room,  great view, of Benbulben, glad we were at the back as road was busy. Host was v. Friendly and helpful,  even though his pub business was suffering terribly...the museum next door was really excellent.. definitely going back if we get the chance. Beach was class. And atlantic sheepdog defo worth a visit. There was also a really nice restaurant a 2 minute walk, plus a kid's park almost next door...

Unfortunately due to COVID 19 the bar was closed. That being said the B&B provided an excellent stay. The room provided all the facilities that you’d find in a hotel room and was cleaner than some places we’ve stayed in recently. The breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. We will definitely be returning and would recommend Morans to anyone.

Great bed and breakfast, spotlessly clean, friendly and comfortable. Great location in Grange Village and as a base to explore the area. Lots of parking space, will definitely be back next time I'm in sligo 

My mum and I stayed here for two nights last summer on our grand Irish adventure! Grange was one of our last stops on our trip towards the end and it was fantastic. Travelling by train was a little iffy, however, Ed equipped us with his families' bikes to bike up to Benbulben Mountain for an extraordinary view of Sligo and the ocean. The room was furnished with a TV, double bed, air conditioning, and a lovely bathroom with a shower. We went for dinner, drinks and live music at the bar/resto on the first floor (owned by Ed). Stayed a little too long and made foolish tourists of ourselves singing loudly and proudly with the musician! Great craic. 10/10 for Ed and Moran's B&B! Will hopefully be back soon!

Well we struck gold when we booked this place!!  Lovely clean,bright room for our 2 night stay.  Thebar is very traditional and we were checked in by a lovely man who was so helpful.  The owner was very kind and told us of lots of places to visit that we were unaware of and this made our visit here extra special.  The breakfast was amazing.  We will definately stay here again. Safe car parking at the back of the pub  And we loved watching Pip the dog from playing football with the children from our room.

We past the night there, the bar so tradicional and the people was very nice, he helps us with my problem of the car, in that place was where i fall in love with the Guinness 🥰🤤🍺. The room so comfortable, so sure We return👌

Lovely Stay

Nice B&b, would recommend as part of a trip exploring Ireland and comes with a lovely Irish Breakfast.
Good size rooms and clean ensuite and looks recently refurbished.
The bar is okay and there is rear parking for motorbikes.
The pub doesn’t serve food but there is a great place called Lang’s bar for food just up the road 

Wild Atlantic Way

I was down a couple of years ago as a solo traveller so loved the place. Wonderfully clean fantastic rooms and a great breakfast. With one thing and another it took me until a couple of weeks ago to get back. Absolutely fantastic lovely friendly locals in the bar and a great music session on Thursday nights. I was delighted to be welcome to sing a song. Very good location.
