We loved our stay as this B&B! It’s adorable, the owner is awesome and fun to talk with and it’s in a cute little spot.

Had a wonderful stay, beautiful room/views/location and John is a legend. Stunning evening walk down to the pub next village over. Would return again in a second.

The proprietor was very nice and helpful.

Magically beautiful made better by a third generation proprietor. Sad to leave.

This B&B is a total gem. Quaint and rustic, john the owner is hospitable and friendly. He gave us fantastic advice on what to see in the area, he is a true ambassador of connemara. Also, do yourself a favour and eat and Patty Coyens down the street. There is also a fantastic little beach down the road from the B&B, dont miss it!

Incredible experience. John, the host, was kind and informative, with great recommendations for local restaurants. The room was modest, yet comfortable, and checked every box for a B&B in rural seaside Ireland. The views from the windows are mind-blowing and the breakfast was delicious!

The building is gorgeous, the staff is extremely nice! Very beautiful place to stay in Ireland!

Very friendly and helpful! Housekeeping staff was delightful. Breakfast was superb! Agreeable to our special needs. This is an older property so do not expect fancy decor & amenities. Parking was easy,convenient and free. Local information was shared with us. We especially liked being near the ocean. A few restaurants close by for lunch dinner. Travel time to sights are within a 1-2 hour radius.

A nice place to stay, the room was comfortable with a beautiful view! John was a nice host and I liked the way the breakfast table was laid out on the morning with the cups and saucers, and little wine glasses for the orange juice I thought that was a nice little touch! There is local restaurants a couple of minutes down the road to eat at, and again about a 10 minute drive to the National Park, so overall a good location.

John and his team were very nice to deal with. Beds were comfortable and Wifi was good. Short walk to a few pubs and restaurants.  The weather was very bad for hiking on the mountain in the national park, so John recommended a walking trail along the Killary Fjord. It was a wonderful alternative. Thanks.

I've stayed twice at Castle House . It's a great spot for touring around Connemara. The rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. John is a perfect host, very friendly and knowledgeable on the local area. 
There is something special about the house which is makes you feel "at home" 
If you are looking for flashy this isn't it but good,comfortable stay in a perfect area then don't look any further.

Beautiful location

My father and I have stayed here four times over the years and we love it every time. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the full Irish breakfasts fortify you for the day, and the owner John is a warm soul of hospitality. He knows the area well and has cared for many travelers over the years, and we always appreciate his local knowledge. 

Warm, peaceful, perfect location 

I loved my room here - small, but amazing view from both the bathroom and the bedroom. Bed was comfortable and everything was spotless. Host John is welcoming and serves the best porridge ever :-) He makes a note for you to be quiet if returning late, which I really appreciate, having stayed at some B&B's where late night revelers made sleep impossible. Great location for touring around, and some lovely pubs/restaurants up the road about 10 minutes walks for food and a pint. I'll return :-)
Nice coastal walk adjacent, equestrian centre next door, about 20 mins walk to Renvyle House Hotel if you want to splash out on gourmet food
