We stayed only one night and did not have lunch because we had to leave early in the morning. The reception was warm. The house is very beautiful and well maintained, like the garden. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Our bathroom was even equipped with a hot tub (this is not the case in all rooms). There is a living room where we could have coffee. Very good address 45 minutes from the airport.

Beautiful house, well placed for a return to Dublin

We arrived unexpectedly early but were welcomed kindly. The rooms are very elegant with some lovely furnishings and extremely comfortable beds. You're right on a busy road so some rooms do hear a regular buzz of traffic, but we still slept well. Josephine was an outstanding hostess and fed us well.

Grand hospitality

This is a quiet place of quiet elegance. The dining was excellent, both the well-prepared-however-you-like-it food, the table setting, brewed coffee, and layout. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and Josephine made sure the beds were made up daily. She greets you with that warm Irish smile and welcome hospitality. And there is a fine restaurant about 300 feet away that served a variety of dishes for dinner. She's only about 20 minutes from New Grange or Trim which adds convenience to the location. Our Google map got a little confused because the property is at an intersection, but we found it just fine.

quiet elegance

We stayed here the last two nights of our Ireland Vacation last week. Wonderful Breakfast, very modern and clean B & B.  We left to early on the last morning to say a proper Thank you. We would recommend this B & B to other travelers that are going to be in this area. Dublin City and the Airport are less than 40 minutes away.

Very Nice B & B

This was our last B&B before dumping the rental car in Dublin.  Josephine was an amazing and friendly host.  The room and the property were immaculate and comfortable.  Breakfast was excellent.  We stayed for two nights and explored the area, easy access to Slane Castle (and distillery!), Hill of Tara and Newgrange.  Nice bar/restaurant a 3 minute walk across R161.  Peggy and I were going to walk over late one night.  Josephine insisted on giving us Hi-Viz vests for the walk.  We were glad to have them!

Relaxing Stay!

This b&b is usually our first nights and last nights choice as it is a direct drive to/from the airport.This year Josephine was away when we arrived so we only stayed at the end of our trip. Just not the same arriving in Ireland and not heading "home"! The b&b is spotless and the breakfasts are great. A good location to head to Trim or to visit all the Boyne Valley attractions. Navan isn't a touristy town but we enjoy walking the streets and popping in and out of the many shops. We always make our regular trip to Trim as well which is a short drive. Love the river walk! Can't wait to get back again to "home".

Home away from home!!

Charming, well-located house for visiting the Boyne Valley, where nothing is left to chance, everything is clean, well-organized and structured. The quality is at the meeting; the opaque curtains, the furniture, the woodworking, the sheets, the mattresses, the feathered couch, the pillows, towels and even the scrubs (I made 4 B&Bs in Ireland and this is the first time I saw this, I thought it didn't exist here!).

Flawless from A to Z!

Josephine welcomed us very warmly and recommended us a good restaurant for the evening. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We felt very comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty and lovingly prepared. In addition to a rich Irish breakfast, we also received fresh fruit salad. We would like to recommend the Bothar Alainn House.

Cozy B&B

My wife and I stayed two nights at this Bed and Breakfast which is located near Newgrange and Monasterboice and which, therefore, is extremely convenient for all visits. The owner is very friendly and always willing to help; in fact, she gave us all the necessary information about where to eat, how to get to the places to visit and even about the times. The rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast is plentiful and cooked. It is also possible to suggest some variation that the owner is not uncomfortable with accepting. All this is to be thankful. Unfortunately, during our visit to the region, the weather was especially bad (we were living in one of the coldest summers of the last 20 years), so that the house in the house was so cold and humid that the heat and humidity of the room in the island would not have been a problem, but, given that the heat and humidity of the island were not a problem, it would have been an unexpected consequence of the heat and humidity of the whole area, but, given that the temperature of the room in the other room, it would not have been a problem

All right, but you should take into account some small details.

A good B&B with a very friendly owner. The room was large and the bathroom was modern. However, we didn't like the Irish country house style, but it's a matter of taste. The breakfast was very rich, including fresh fruit salad. Overall, it's recommended.
