Fabulous cottage, great location and everything you need for a quiet stay.  The cottage is warm and comfortable built in a traditional lrish style but with all the home comforts you could need.
There are 20 cottages which are close to the National Park with a view of the nearby mountains which make for great walking, climbing and touring.  
Owners are very friendly and helpful and we will definitely be back!

Stayed here for 4 nights in August. The owner was very accommodating as we had to change dates at short notice, due to a bereavement.
Our cottage, sleeps 5, with 3 bedrooms,  the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, cottage was spotless.
I loved the peace & quite, quite a good distance between each cottage, surrounded by grass. I also loved that the windows opened right out, letting in loads of fresh air.


We have stayed here many times over the years, and the standard is kept high.   The cottages are great and give you a real taste of country living with nature on your doorstep.   You are almost guaranteed to see rabbits in the mornings and we were lucky enough to have a stag wander in early one morning, as it is joined onto the national park.
If you are thinking of booking for a stag or hen night with a gang of people, then this place is NOT for you.   You guys can stay in The Gleneagle or Scotts.   If you have standards, then this place is for you.   Like having a home from home.   With hotel prices going through the roof, these cottages have recently had their appliances upgraded, and still provides great value for money.   The owner John is only too happy to help with anything you need.   Will 100% be coming down again.

Absolutely could not fault our stay here in Killarney Lakeland Cottages. Fabulous place and everything you could need/want is supplied, washing machine dryer dishwasher and all the utensils you would ever need. Cottages are so spacious and very safe. And a lovely green with a playground outside your door. Lovely distance from killarney national park and a few minutes by car to town. Checkin and check out hassle free. 
Will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed here late August 21, and found the place an ideal base to explore Kerry. The cottages are very spacious with everything one need's to spend a great time away. The place is safe for families to let the kids play about and the scenery is amazing. We actually have booked the same cottage for Aug 2022. Can't wait to get back.

A fabulous two nights break. Spotless. All the mod cons you could need. The cottages are spaced in such a way that you are in your own pod. A quiet area. It's based outside Killarney town, however, not too far from either the town or Muckross House and Gardens.
We will be returning. John is a Great host.

From start to finish our stay in the Lakeland Cottages was nothing short of amazing. John is so professional and was always available when we had a question. The cottages were so well equipped: washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher! Every utensil you would need, pots, pans, toaster, microwave, coffee machine ; the list could go on. So much space - would definitely suit a family. Very easy to find, very accessible to Killarney Town (plus Killarney Taxi firm were very good and was around €10 one way). We couldn't have asked for better self catering accommodation and we will absolutely be back next year!

Well where to start OMG amazing wee little gem situated on outskirts of Killarney and an ideal place for family’s especially with small kids so safe and great value for money we stayed a week here the cottage has all u need and to anyone reading previous reviews about electricity I was nervous too but for the week 25 euro so We couldn’t complain so to John and all the family the place is a credit to you we will definitely return and definitely recommend 

We stayed here for one week in July 2020 on a family staycation given the travel restrictions. It is in a stunning location - in the countryside but only a short drive from Killarney town and within walking distance of the national park. The entrance / grounds / green areas are immaculately kept and the owner, John, was a pleasure to deal with. The cottages are truly faultless - spacious, comfortable, and had everything one would need. With certainty, we will return and would not hesitate in recommending.

Stayed here in June for the first time. I'm definitely booking it again for June 2020. It's our new go to place. Peaceful, pleasant we love it. Comfortably fit 7 of us. Very clean. Games room kept the kids occupied for hours.

My family and I stayed here with our pet dog and had an incredible time. The cottage was lovely and clean. The host had no issue with our late check in and was very accommodating as we were delayed on the way to Killarney. The cottages are about 10 minutes outside of the city and the location is very near the beautiful Killarney park.
