This B&B is actually more like a mini country house hotel, very big, comfortable room with huge luxurious bathroom. Lovely host, breakfast, everything. Highly recomend. Probably your best choice in Longford. 

Arrived early at this gorgeous house in Longford 
I was made very welcome by Antoinette and tea was served in a gorgeous drawing room with an open 🔥 
Room was excellent and breakfast was delicious 
I have stayed at St Albans numerous times since and it’s always relaxing 



Our stay at St Albans House was very nice. We had a large and comfortable room with all necessary comfort. Breakfast was nice too. Bread, toast, full Irish, yoghurt, jams, fresh fruit, cereals, ...
If you are looking for a stay in Longford we can highly recommend this B&B.

We arrived when it was cold and it took some time to heat the room. The accommodation was clean and the breakfast was very good. We were surprised as Antoinette asked for cash as we were leaving. She directed us to a cash dispenser. 

This was also the most expensive b&b that we stayed at in Ireland.

We stayed there during a cold spell and our hostess, Antoinette, explained that the house was hard to heat as it was built in the mid 1800s. The beautiful drawing room had a fireplace which Antoinette lit for us each night. The bedroom was very specious and clean. The breakfast was very good. We were disappointed that Antoinette asked for cash when we were checking out as we did not carry a lot of cash with us and it was inconvenient to have to pay cash. Had she advised us on arrival we would have gone to the bank machine. The cost was a bit higher than the other comparable  B& Bs that we stayed at in Ireland.
