Divine Mercy B&B

Stayed in a 3 bed family room due to my sister being disabled. Good clean beds. Warm sep shower and toilet  lovely breakfast. Cereal  then cooked breakfast tea / coffee / orange juice  toast    No complaints at all. Very friendly landlady  , we would definately stay there again. Good value for money. 

Thank you to Elsie and Gerry for the great personal attention , a very comfortable room with great food for breakfast.  They have a very comfortable sitting room where guests can relax, chat and share their experiences of visiting Knock

Enjoyed my stay with my mother at the divine mercy . Hostess was a lady . Her house was warm and welcoming and she couldn't have made us feel more welcome . She made us tea and sandwiches and biscuits on arrival. Breakfast was also wonderful. Thank you Elsie

Beautiful bed and breakfast divine mercy B&B friendly service cosy rooms I had such a wonderful time staying here I come back every year fantastic full Irish breakfast and a mug of coffee with pure orange with my breakfast absolutely fantastic 

On our arrival ,we were welcomed by hostess ,Elsie ,who furnished us with large pot of Tea served with Cake and Biscuits. This was unexpected by us but very much appreciated. We were staying in a nice room with bathroom en-suite - we slept like "logs" on a very comfortable bed. However ,the Breakfast in the morning ,was the nicest ,we have received in any establishment lately. I would return again to Divine Mercy B/B! We pointed out to the hostess ,that people might need more directions to find this gem.

I had a beautiful stay in Knock thanks in no small part to the hospitality and care shown by the hostess at Divine Mercy, Elsie.
Upon my arrival she served lovely, fresh, homemade  Chicken Soup for the soul as well as tea and biscuits for the weary traveller. She wouldnt accept any extra payment maintaining it was her pleasure.
That sort or warmth and generosity pretty much sums this guesthouse up.
The room was a decent size and spotlessky clean. The breakfast was hearty and served with a huge dollop of friendly conversation from Elsie.
It's about a ten or fifteen minute stroll from the shrine, an easy walk as long as it's dry! By car it's only two minutes away. 
Great value too by the way, especially for the care and consideration you receive. A very comfortable stay and I have no hesitation in offering my recommendation. I'd certainly be happy to stay here again and will aim to do just that on my next visit to Knock.

As budget B&B places go, this is the best kind.  Elsie welcomed me warmly and made sure I was comfortable.  The room was not large, but it was clean, fresh and comfortable, and I slept like a baby.  There's a nice sitting room for guests, and tea and coffee facilities in the room.  The showers and loos were spotless.  There's easy parking in front of the house, and a smoking area with seating.  The house is only a few minutes' walk from the shrine.

Elsie is the kind of hostess who makes you feel absolutely at home immediately.  She took the trouble to find out my plans and suggested times so that I could eat well and also attend the Novena mass at the shrine.  An excellent and generous breakfast was cooked to order in time for me to get to the airport for my flight.

◦	Elsie, the fantastic friendly hostess from Belfast is herself "Divine" in her spotless cosy quiet peaceful Divine Mercy countryside b&b, just 5 minutes by car from Knock village & world famous holy shrine, which is a simple quiet lovely non-commercial place to reflect on inner self & peace and have a day out - loved it & I'm not a fan of organised religion at all.
I had the best sleep in a long long time. Shower was just a dribble so couldn't wash my hair but it was hot. Good wi-fi. Very lovely double bed for a single occupancy booking!!
Fantastic scrumptious full Irish breakfast all for just €40 - a true bargain - yes I would definitely be staying again 100% thank you Elsie for dropping me at shrine & bringing my glasses & book to the bus stop - much appreciated. Beautiful countryside- old Ireland  - the only bad was the dishonest taxi man from airport & impossible to find taxi at airport & no late bus - note: Knock village is 20 minutes drive from airport

This was a nice B and B very near to Knock Shrine. The B and B owner, Elsie, was very friendly and kind. My room was comfortable, the sitting room was very nice, and breakfast was lovely. The room rate was a good value, and I would definitely recommend this B and B if you're going to Knock. Thanks, Elsie, for your hospitality!

1 night at B and B    Close to knock site

I spent only one night at the Divine Mercy B&B, during a recent drive from Shannon Airport to Glencolumcille in County Donegal, but I have no complaints. I arrived late in the afternoon on a rainy, chilly, day, and was served hot tea and scones in a very inviting sitting room in front of a welcoming fireplace - perfect for the weather outside! My room was small but comfortable, and completely sufficient for one person. It had a handy sink with running water, and a shared shower and bathroom just one door away via the hallway. Towels were generously supplied. There was a nice Irish breakfast in the morning, served in a spacious dining room. The Knock shrine, which I visited before checking in to the B&B, is about a 1 km walk away. I was not there on a multi-day pilgrimage so I cannot speak about the experience of a longer stay, but the price was reasonable, the hostess attentive, and the facilities adequate. I would definitely stay there again.
