We had a fantastic time here. The rooms were spotless, huge, well decorated, well stocked with towels, coffee, tea, and creamer, and more importantly... Super Comfortable! The owners were so welcoming and accommodating and their Full Irish Breakfast was delicious and filling, accompanied by amazing toast and tea or coffee. We had to leave before breakfast to catch our train and they gave us some great fruit to go. Absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. 

Lovely B&B with fantastic breakfast cooked by the host. The owner is an artist and author and a warm and friendly hostess. The location is great- walkable to castle , restaurants, shopping  and pubs. There is onsite parking if you are driving. The rooms are small and old fashioned but clean and comfortable. I recommend it.

Srayed for one night and would stay longer no problem. Great location within 2 minutes of the main street. Very pleasant and friendly hosts. Our room was spotless clean and cozy. A delicious breakfast set us up for the rest of our day. Car park is a great asset. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a Friend in room3, owner was lovely gave us a map of Kilkenny town, Great breakfast, would highly recommend staying!  b&b is close to everything in town aswel at walking distance. Would definitely be returning here next time I’m in Kilkenny.

Location is perfect for a Kilkenny visit. All of the attractions and pubs are within a 15 minute walk. They have a secure walled in parking area for your car, so park and forget it. The hosts are very friendly and offer a choice of veggie, continental or Irish breakfast. The rooms are small but clean. My only recommendation is that they put a small table or shelf in the bathroom.

We stayed here for two nights. The room was very clean, bathroom was good with a nice shower. The hosts are very friendly people and very welcoming. We arrived 3 hours before check in and the owner  very graciously allowed us to take our room.

The location is unbeatable with easy walking distance to the castle, cathedral and medieval mile. Lots of good pubs and restaurants all around. There is a river walk that starts close to the bridge, which is very peaceful and green.

Breakfast is cheerfully served every morning and is plenty of food. (Also free) 
The coffee was served in a pot so no need to ask for refills, and was of high quality. I really enjoyed talking to the owners. The wi-fi is excellent and fast. Their parking lot is very secure, with  a high fence and gate.

The only complaint i have (and why I didn't give 5 stars) is that that we each only got one pillow and it was an old, lumpy, hard pillow. The beds are also a little too firm and lumpy. Having said that, I would definitely stay here again.

Booked a 2 night stay for a group of 15 friends , great location but some rooms were smaller then others! Shower good but our room was covered in flies on the last night???
Parking very secure,  the couple are lovely that run it and found it a very reasonable price!
No choice of breakfast ie poached/scrambled/boiled eggs. 
Otherwise very clean n basic for location etc 


Adequate 

This was a last minute decision late one night and a poor one at that but we didn’t have much choice. 
The owner is a nice enough fellow but realizing we were in a bind he put us in this very small basement room which barely had enough room for the three of us and our bags, the beds were old and uncomfortable and at half the cost it would have been acceptable. The breakfast was fine, the place is clean and the location is excellent however I would not recommend it if you have other options but it’s ok to get you out of a jam. 

Least Favorite of all B&B’s

While the hosts are friendly and very well-intentioned, this is a very basic place. Our double room was tiny by any standard, and it was tough to even find a place to put our suitcases. The linens were very tired, the TV was teeny, bed was lumpy. Nice wood floors - but very creaky. Breakfast had little choice and I found it too fatty. 

The location is a nice walk from the main area of Kilkenny, and the snug secure car park is very helpful. If you want 'basic' in a good location, this is the place for you.

Very very basic

This was our first B&B stop on our nine day drive around Ireland and while overall it was OK not great.  Our room in the basement out back was tight and the bathroom not the best. The off street parking was good and easy to get into and out. Walking into Kilkenny was a breeze which is a plus.  The breakfast was good but not the best of our trip.
