Great place to stay if you don’t mind a bit of music late at night and want to be right in the middle of beautiful Kenmare. Rooms are very comfy and can sleep from 2 to 4 people - my room had a double and 2 single beds, ideal for a family with young kids. Maid service was excellent, try to schedule cleaning your room around your use. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and clean and tidy bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. You are asked to give a time the day before so the chef is ready for you and you’re not kept waiting. Food and drink during the day and evening is good value and there is a good range. Staff are excellent, can’t do enough to help. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed here 6 years ago with our daughters and decided to stay again. We and the other couple with us, loved the homeyness of this hotel and pub. The rooms where great to lay our heads down for the night. The pub and restaurant were good. Breakfast was amazing. Kenmare is a great little town with nice shops. Perfect spot to explore Ring of Kerry.

We spent the week in beautiful Kenmare and we are so glad we came across Foley's on our 3rd night. We loved it so much we returned each night for food and drinks and staying for the music. My daughter was invited up to sing on a few occasions and it made her day. We could not fault the food or the service. It was very busy when we visited but we didn't have too long to wait on our food. Special mention to our Waitress Helena who was just amazing. The stand out for us was meeting the amazing owner Marion and her lovely son behind the bar. They would make us return if only to catch up with them.  My daughter can't wait to get back to Foley's and the next time we are in Kenmare we will be sure to revisit.

Very good value for money.. nothing fancy.  Very clean. Staff lovely.  Food good. Good nightly entertainment.   Right in the center of town. .............................

Stayed here with a group on a motorcycling trip in June. 
Great location for the ring of Kerry and the Beara peninsula.
The rooms were spacious and clean and breakfast was excellent.
We ate here both nights and everything was good. Staff were friendly and efficient,
nice bar with entertainment, would definitely stay again.

Paddy and his staff were wonderful!!
The young man who checked us in in the evening was terrific and then terrific again as the bartender !
The singers were most enjoyable entertainment!  We had a great time.
The young lady who served us breakfast was very friendly and most efficient!

A very nice guest house with breakfast in Kenmare.
The room was clean & comfortable. 
We had supper in the restaurant two nights & the food was very good. The breakfasts in the mornings were great as well. Watch out for the Full Irish as it is a lot of food!
We also spent an evening after dinner listening to some great Irish folk music.

Recently a large group went to Foleys to kickstart a weekend of celebrating a significant birthday of our mum/grandmother. What a fabulous choice of venue Foleys in Kenmare proved to be.
From the moment we went in we were treated so fabulously by Marion, the proprietor. She had supplied and decorated the place for the birthday with balloon displays, banners etc. A surprise birthday cake was also brought out to mam.
The food was excellent. The choice on the menu was very varied. Everyone enjoyed dishes such as lamb stew, Clonakilty chicken, varied salads and omelettes, but it was the steak that was the real winner on the night - the best any of us had in years! 
The waitresses and bar staff, headed up by Nora, couldn't have been nicer and so accommodating to us all. We were moving about greeting our family as they arrived from all parts of Ireland, but the staff handled the chopping and changing with smiles on their faces.
The bill was a pleasant surprise  - getting value for money was a real bonus. 
We stayed on in Foleys for the rest of the night, enjoying the brilliant musician, who played something for everyone - Irish, classics and modern. I even saw some members of my family dance, a sight not seen in years!
If you are a couple, family, or larger group looking for a good venue in Kenmare, you cannot go wrong in Foleys. Anything you want will be catered for and much more beyond.

Went to foleys for a few drinks it was lovely. Very clean, great atmosphere, and had Great live music until late. The staff were very enthusiastic and efficient. Have a great selection of drinks available. Would definitely return here again.

Very nice room and great location in town. Room was clean and updated with newer bathroom. Owner and staff were great, nice sitting area down stairs. Bakery across the street had nice treats. Hopefully I make it back to Ireland and can stay here again.

Amazing food and entertainment

Kenmare is a small town, and Foleys is on the main street. A great Irish family welcome and we were made to feel right at home. Our room was a double and single, and had room to move around. Towels were changed daily. There’s not so many places to eat out, so Foleys is popular; the food is great, there’s live music and lots of drinks to choose from being a pub! If you choose to include breakfast in your room rate, its made fresh from the actual restaurant menu (none of this buffet left standing stuff you get at chain hotels!). Food quality is excellent and reasonably priced for dinner. Overall recommended, particularly as is a super gateway to the Ring of Kerry, going clockwise and avoiding all the tour coaches and crowds from Killarney. If you are looking for negatives, some people comment on the lack of dedicated parking.. you can park overnight in the street outside but must move first thing. That said there are two free car parks within 5 minutes walk and were available every night. Parking was not an issue! If you are looking for peace and quiet, downtown hotels/bars may not be for you. If you want to enjoy the Irish pub welcome and atmosphere, Foleys is great. Live music normally ends around 11pm. We loved the music.. some may not. But it’s Ireland - enjoy the spirit!

Fantastic night in a great restaurant!

I love this place and cannot recommend it enough. Super comfortable, super Guinnesss, super showers  and super staff. All the guys working the bar and reception are very friendly and laid back.  Kenmare is a colourful and vibrant place, like something from a fairytale, so escape your reality and visit. See you again! Ryan.
