This is our favorite place to stay! Cozy home, room for a family (we are a family of 5), excellent breakfast and the most lovely and wonderful people. Very clean, quiet, and in a really neat area close to the sea. It had everything we were looking for, a real farm, beautiful landscape, the sea, and close enough to a great pub (the beach bar). The owners are genuine and kind and they take excellent care of you! 10/10 would stay here again!

A warm welcome by Mary and Padraig, a comfortable house and suites, beautiful landscape and amazing shore, good food (the homemade bread is delicious) and, cherry on the cake, a farm experience.

The attention to detail, the cleanliness, standard of the breakfast added to the friendly, warm welcome made my stay here truly memorable. It's located on a busy working farm which did not impinge on the guest experience in any way and made it more authentic for me as I come from a farming background.

Great place to stay! Mary and her family are lovely people. The breakfast was amazing with fresh fruits, homemade bread and a variety of dishes to choose from. The room was very clean and spacious. There is also the possibility to attend the milking of the cows in the morning which was very interesting to see. We really enjoyed our stay. 10/10 would recommend.

Very kind and friendly host, with a delicious breakfast in the morning. For example you get a self made orange juice. The hosts are open to people and are willing to give some tips and advice for the area. The room was small but with cozy interior.

This was quite an experience, it’s not only a b and b but a working farm where they encourage you to come and watch there amazing heard of 700 cows being milked, I was mesmerised, the accommodation itself is beautiful and the breakfast to die for. Mary, Patric and their family made us feel so welcome even giving us lifts to the local beach pub, we’ll definitely be going back, thanks again Alan and louise

Quaint bed and breakfast near Aughris Coastal Walk and Beach Bar Restaurant.  The Innkeeper Mary and her daughters went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and welcomed. The breakfast was enormous and delicious using the freshest of ingredients. Our room was spotless and the beds were comfortable for a good nights rest. We would highly recommend for your overnight stay!

Professional, straightforward, no nonsense bnb. Breakfast 10/10, service A1. Good value room. Slept solid 9hrs.

Facilities very clean. Pleasant walk to nearby beach bar. Great for watersport. Will be back for the next surf trip, the quick check in and out was ideal, no hanging about. 

Situated on a dairy farm a most lovely  and homely  B&B. Hosts so friendly and chatty. Most beautiful fully homemade breakfast  (loved the potato cakes!). and everything was spotless. Just up the road from the "Beach Bar" situated overlooking a gorgeous sandy bay.

Quaint Spotless Comfortable and Scenic Inn

A lovely room, light and convenient.  The bed was comfortable, the shower refreshingly strong, we were able to enjoy a great dinner at a short distance with an after dinner seat overlooking a beautiful bay.  Breakfast, excellent and extremely generous, with our hostess checking we had all we wanted.  We were given great advice on where to travel from there.

Convenient and fantastic farmstay at Aughris

Our time at Ave Maria was absolutely lovely. Mary, Padraig, and everyone else at the farmhouse were kind, accommodating, and helpful. The tour of the dairy farm was adventurous and increíble! The rooms were in pristine condition, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. We can't wait to go back and visit again.

Beautiful location and kind hosts

We were a family of 4 with two teens.  Our kids were delighted to have separate rooms.  The farmhouse was exceptionally clean and had a family feel.  The rooms were very comfortable.  The breakfast was excellent with many fresh and local fruits and meats.  Our host was Virginia. She was delightful and provided excellent information for the area.  We made the hike up Croagh Patrick, so it’s her turn now!  We would love to return to this B&B and spend more time on the farm. The location was perfect for us as we were exploring the coast and surf spots north and south.  Very close to Easkey, Enniscrone, Strandhill and other excellent surf locations.

Lovely stay and amazing breakfast! Mary and the staff were very nice and helpful. Their suggestions on were to eat and what to visit were spot on. It's a 26 mins drive to Strandhill beach, so the location is good. Would highly recommend to stay  here and I know I will next time I'm visiting Sligo!

Great hosts and amazing breakfast

One of the best B&B breakfasts we had on our holidays in west of Ireland during the summer. Lots of delicious options and fresh produce. The owners of this beautiful farmhouse were very friendly and helpful and even posted me back my phone charger after i accidently left it in the house. I would highly recommend this B&B to stay in. I am sure we will be back to say ourselves again in the future.
