Myself & my husband had an exceptional stay at Kilcar Lodge. It was our first time in the area & the location of the B&B was perfect. Teresa is a wonderful host - super friendly and accommodating! Tasty breakfast, spotless room, shower was so nice & comfy bed. What more could you want!

Stayed in Kilcar Lodge for two nights. Location suited for our hiking needs. The room was comfortable with all the amenities I needed. 
Breakfast was top class. 
My host Teresa was lovely and very helpful. 
Would definitely recommend staying here.

Kilcar Lodge is a wonderful B& B. Teresa is very kind and helpful and makes sure everything is great. Breakfast is great, the rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. You won’t be disappointed. Only a minute or two walk to central of town which has 3 pubs, a grocery store, a woolen mill, fast food pickup. Teresa will recommend several places for dinner nearby. She’s a very dear soul. She left a gift for my birthday and my husband and I wedding anniversary on our bed one evening which touched our hearts.  Highly recommend !

Six of us stayed at Killarney lodge whilst on a trip to Donegal tuna fishing.Kildare lodge is a well kept spotless establishment,and the host was great,breakfast set you up for the day and only two minutes walk into the village ,a great base for touring as well.

The rooms were wonderful. Great full Irish breakfast. Teresa was very nice. She was very helpful about things to do in the area. This was right in the middle of town with easy walking to everything. There was parking on site.

The host is absolutely fantastic,  so welcoming and the accommodation  and bed was really lovely, would highly recommend  staying here as its  fairly central to some lovely  viewing spots. My now  fiancé  stayed there for 2 nights and would definitely go back 

I stayed here for two nights in August and it was absolutely fab. The room was spacious and very clean. There is a stream behind the B&B which was relaxing to listen to when the windows were open. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and Teresa had such great service. My sister is coeliac and Teresa had especially gone out to get gluten-free bread etc. Lovely B & B overall!

The room was wonderful.  The hostess was extremely helpful and full of local knowledge.   There is a very pretty stream running right behind the lodge.  The location is extremely quiet.  The breakfast was amazing - the biggest and best Irish breakfast we've had in our 2 weeks on the road.  Our only issue was with the bed - it was only standard double width and was fairly hard.

We stayed one night in this B & B in Kilcar and I was very impressed. Room was very clean, spacious and had a lovely view of the river at the back. Teresa was very friendly and helpful, breakfast next morning was excellent and we will definitely be back again

Staycation 2020

Great stay.

We spent one night in Kilcar Lodge as we started our trip along the wild atlantic way up north there.

The house is in a small village with a tiny supermarked and a pub and has its own little car park for their guests which was important for us as we did not want to leave the rental car parked direclty on the narrow roads like the locals do. 

The room was quite big - but we also got the family room set up for 3. Everything is very clean and decorated very cosy and a familiar atmosphere makes you feeling welcome at the moment you enter the house. 

The breakfast (full irish) is plenty and delicious. But for erveryone who does not want to eat that kind of heavy meal in the morning, there is also toast or cerials.

Very clean and very comfortable

We had a lovely weekend stay, when we arrived we had a very welcoming greeting. Met with a smile and a friendly chat. The B&B is really well located, depending on what you plan to there is good roads connecting everywhere to Kilcar. The local pubs are literally a 2 minute walk from the B&B, after the night in the bar there's a takeaway across the road and the food is also pretty good. Whilst we're on food, the breakfast in the B&B was very tasty and a great way to start the day. Teresa is so genuinely kind and couldn't do enough for us. I look forward to visiting again and I recommend anyone planning to stay in this part of Donegal to stay here. 

Weekend in Kilcar and surrounding areas. 

We stayed at Kilcar Lodge for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding in the Blue Haven Hotel. The B&B was very clean, had a comfy bed and big en suite bathroom. We couldn't fault it! The breakfast was your typical Irish breakfast which again we couldn't fault. If you are visiting Kilcar I would recommend it. We had a lovely stay!
