We spent 3 nights in this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. This lovely accommodation should be used as a template for all other BnB's. Perfect. I shall return and I shall recommend highly, to others. my husband booked this for a surprise for our wedding anniversary.
The Almara is perfectly situated in between Dublin airport and Dublin city centre, on a bus route with the bus stop outside the B&B.
we were met on arrival by Maria who is very knowledgeable with bus times and advised us to download Dublin bus app as this gives you the times of the buses from outside and also the city centre.
The room was lovely and had an en-suite bathroom lovely and warm and very well kept clean and tidy.
Breakfast is in the dinning room between 7.30 and 9.15  breakfast is a choice of full irish or porridge( which i have to say is highly recommended) there is also pancakes with fresh fruit or bacon, scrambled eggs and bacon, there is also yogurt and fresh fruit (something for everyone), toast with either jam or marmalade the raspberry jam is to die for ( homemade neither sweet or bitter). Maria’s husband serves the breakfast and he reminded me of a little leprechaun as he would just appear to take your order.
there is a tea coffee making facility in the lounge where you can help yourself.
the only thing i would recommend to change would be to put the tea coffee facilities in the bedroom as if like me you wake up at between 1am and 3  and want a drink but don’t want to go downstairs.
definitely come back here. 

We loved our stay at Almara BnB.
From the moment we arrived (after 24hours of travel from Australia) we were greeted by Maria who was so friendly and nurturing. We stayed in room 6 which had an en-suite. The room is tidy and comfortable and was all we needed for our 3 night stay. Maria and Alan were both so nice, breakfast was delicious and they gave us lots of helpful tips! We even got to meet their dog who was very cute. 
The road traffic is a little noisy but didn’t bother us as the location here is great - nice and close to bus stops to get in and out of Dublin City.

A very good place to stay at during your Dublin visit! Maria and Alan are very nice and helpful, our room (#6) was super clean, the bathroom just remodeled. Breakfast is copious. Bus #14 gets you right into the city and back (15´), busstop almost in front of the house. Bus #16 from the airport gets you to Almara, this is an inexpensive way of reaching the city. Get a Leap Visitor Card for 1/3/7 days (e.g. at Spar supermarket, Terminal 2 arrivals) to use public transportation, it´s comparatively cheap and convenient. On the whole, Dublin is not cheap of course...
A downside to the rooms facing the street: Traffic noise can be heard. Most of the rooms are on the first floor (GB)/second floor(US), you need to climb some steps.

The Almara B&B was lovely place to stay in our trip to Dublin. Beds in B&B was good and a breakfast was super. Owners Maria and Alan was kind and friendly. There is a great pub in a same street too named Kitty Kierans. And bus to centre will go often.

Almara proved to surpass our expectations. Cute, comfortable, beautiful, the room for three was perfect. Everything in perfect order and with fresh towels daily. Breakfast deserves a separate praise. Alan, our host, was always attentive to our wishes and we had the chance to enjoy the incredible variety of breakfasts, from the old traditional one with Irish pudding, to the most fresh fruity ensemble. Thanks Alan for making us feel family.  We hope to go back soon!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Alamara. Excellent quality breakfast in the morning and homely atmosphere. Only a short bus ride from the centre of town. Buy a Leap card from local Spar to get a discount on bus fares

Stayed for 3 nights.  This is a great location between airport and downtown Dublin.  Easy access to bus with stop just one house down.  The room was very small, but adequate for what we needed.  It was clean and comfortable.  Breakfast was very good and we were offered a brown bag breakfast on the mornings that we left prior to the sit down breakfast being served.  Alan greeted us upon arrival and was very welcoming.  He was a wealth of knowledge and very helpful.  He helped to arrange taxi service to the airport.  This B&B is very busy and the only downside was the noise of people coming and going early in the morning and late at night.  We enjoyed our stay and would recommend a stay.

Pleasent stay in Dublin

Welcoming hosts, Excellent Breakfast

Very warm welcome. Nice and friendly landlady who gave lots of good advice to public transport and tourist activities. Clean room with a shower which offers a decent jet of water. Good breakfast - different menus to choose. As we had to leave before 6am to catch our early flight we got a breakfast to take along.
The walls between the rooms upstairs are so thin that you can hear everything through it. Important to know as the double room with garden view is located next to the bathroom shared by several rooms....
The breakfast is limited to one of the menus offered. Means half a glass of orange juice per person only, my request for a yoghurt to add to a bowl of cornflakes wasn't possible (milk only available).

Located between airport and Dubin centre

On the good side it is close to the bus route to Dublin, free parking and Wi-Fi.  Marie was informative about the bus service and Hop on Hop Off bus in Dublin. You really need a vehicle to go out to dinner if you don't eat in Dublin. The local pub is a 10 minute walk but it doesn't serve food. The Beaumont is a further walk but serves good food. We walked once but drove one night. Breakfast is good but I failed to pay ahead when I booked which added €24 plus tax to our room rate of €88 per day. Our room was a tiny twin on the ground floor, 2 twin beds and night stands fit wall to wall. There was no room to place your luggage except at the foot of the bed. We had to place them on the bed each morning to open. We were traveling for 11 days so we large luggage. There was a small wardrobe in the room. The bathroom was very tiny and had the smallest sink we had ever seen and not much room to leave toiletries. They only supplied shampoo. The was a bottle of water and 2 glasses in the room. If you wanted tea or coffee you needed to go into the living room to make it. The location is on a very busy street and noisey if you are staying in a front room. Also, the shade doesn't keep the light out so you need to pull the curtains.
