Located within a few minutes' walk of the Temple Bar and Trinity College area, with many buses stopping in the one-way Pearse street, as well as the Dart train station just 5 minutes down the street, were all most convenient.The rooms are situated on 1st or 2nd floor above the pub (no lift). The tea and coffee provided, as well as the fridge in the attractive dining room, were very welcome, with a lovely outlook on the street. Delicious breakfast pastries were available at Bread 41 next door, so there is a definite saving on eating breakfast out. Our room next to the dining room was spacious, the carpet and bathroom spotless. Daily cleaning was done. The noise of the street was not heard when the windows were shut. The beds were comfortable. Having an amazing 18th-century pub downstairs for food and drinks was great. Staying in the historical Michael Collins room was an added bonus! I would definitely stay at O'Neill's if ever visiting Dublin again.
