Larry is a real character. You must ask him for his Elvis impersonation! He's welcoming and happy to help with anything. Cooked us breakfast in the morning, either bacon and eggs or pancakes. Rooms are clean and simple. Only a ten minute walk to the centre of Galway. Worth the visit to meet Larry, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Simple and nice with all you need for a good night stay. 
Larry is lovely and the location is absolutely grand, just 15 min. walk to town centre.
We’ll be back for sure next time.
For good food and music 7 days a week, we recommend Skeff, Eyer Square.

Great Little B&B

Little adorable B&B

The BB is a 10 minute walk to central Galway with various flood paces and bars etc.There is parking out the front. The rooms sadly need an update. I am unsure why the rooms have an ancient TV in them and ours did not work anyway.The service was good and the breakfast just makes the grade with the options of bacon and eggs or pancakes. The latter was 2 pancakes with maple syrup.It filled us up so that was that. Wi fi was very slow I noticed

Needs a revamp

Did the job for the night as we attended a function in Salthill. House needs updating badly, linen is tired and old, does smell damp. A total overhaul is definitely needed. Breakfast was reheated in the microwave. Hot water ran out for the second shower and then we overheard another guest asking about the hot water as well. Larry is nice, but definitely needs to spend money on the place. Won't stay again.

One Night Only

The owner, Larry, was lovely BUT, this is a very tired and run down B&B! It desperately needs renovating and cleaning!  The bathrooms were atrocious and we avoided the shower at all costs! I think Larry should throw in the towel and go on some lovely trips and enjoy his retirement. We wouldn’t stay here again. Sorry Larry...

You get what you pay for...

Very unfriendly welcome to this dirty, tired looking place. We were told that the shower gets switched off between 10pm and 7am!!! The tv was a very old and dirty model. We had to clean the bedside table before we could use it. But worse was yet to come. Whilst using the bathroom I spotted a large glob of DRIED POOH on the pedestal of the bathroom sink. Never have I been so disgusted with a hotel room in all my life!  When I confronted the owner he said he would give me the room for half price when I paid him cash in he morning. Cash, I said, I have never paid cash for a hotel room!!??? He then said that that was a mistake by Bookings.com and that he only ever took cash!  When I refused he said he would waive the fee altogether! This conversation took place in the kitchen which was so disgustingly filthy, I told him not to bother about our breakfast. Filthy, disgusting place with an owner who couldn’t care less. And...........the shower was freezing - no hot water!

Absolutely appalled!

worst b&b I have ever stayed in. Smelly room. stained shower. carpet dirty. breakfast very poor. egg half raw. tea cold. Very outdated - 1980's, furniture and bathroom suite green which came out in possibly 1970's
