It's a beautiful sea front hotel, with lovely views from the Breakfast Room/ Bar.

The beds, pillows and linen are second to none and so very very comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean and very bright.

But the best thing really is the staff I really can't thank them enough for their friendly welcome.
From receptionists who were lovely  Miraid, Marina, and Martina along with the barman who filled our flask with hot water, supplied tea bags, milk and biscuits, to take with us to the stunning nearby beach at Burton Port to watch the beautiful sunset. 
A big thanks to the gentleman who helped us with our luggage.
They also had live entertainment in the bar unfortunately we had plans to visit family in Bunbeg, but it did sound good, I'll make sure we stay next time.

The breakfast waitress and Chief were also so kind, friendly and welcoming, even though we we arrived at breakfast just 10mins before it finished !
And to top it all Colm went out of his way to bring my daughter 'turf/peat' to bring home for her fire pit, we love the sweet smell of Donegal brings back lovely memories.

Oh and if you are passing through Derrybeg/Bunbeg you have to visit 'The Bakery' a first class Breakfast Brunch/Lunch and home made cakes to die for delicious.

Thank you to the Waterfont Hotel well worth a visit.

A Friendly Welcome Waterfront Hotel Donegal

Had a wonderful experience at the Bistro restaurant.  The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.  The food was just lovely and cooked to perfection, and very reasonably priced.  The views were spectacular.  Would highly recommend the Waterfront Hotel the staff really are a credit to the hotel.

Wonderful experience

We stayed 2 nights in the Waterfront hotel and really didn't want to leave ! It's been years since we last visited the former Ostann na Rosann. And whao were we overwhelmed.Firstly there is such a warm engaging atmosphere amongst all the staff regardless of role or position.Sadly many hotels are unable to offer this .The team was headed by the super efficient Martina who was really helpful on menu choices, table options and could easily explain the origin of many of the food products on offer ..

And into the food - it was exceptional.We dined two nights and enjoyed fabulous seafood in both nights .The crabs claws .mussels and oysters were beyond our expectations and could rival any of Belfast's finest restaurants.Equally my husband had the burger as it looked so good from one of our neighbouring diners .And again it was exceptional

So we leave now having thoroughly enjoyed our two night break and are planning our return

Fabulous waterfront hotel 

Had a lovely stay, all the basics were great,  good bed, hot water, nice breakfast (lovely porridge), lovely bar food menu and good value.  The staff were friendly and welcoming.  Would definately visit again. Just 2 small things, in the Suite, i forgot body lotion and you would expect some extras in the Suite like lotion, biscuits, coffee machine, the bath towels were small (thought there was a bathrobe), the bathroom shelf was so high I never noticed it until I went looking for a shower cap. There were no instructions or guide for the hotel, I did not know how the phone worked and I needed to know the breakfast times. The step in the room was also tricky. Loved the Easter decor and the lovely art works. Thank you

Anniversary Weekend Break in Donegal. Used the hotel as a base for playing Golf.
Lovely hotel our deluxe room was very  comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful.
We ate in the bar and the meal was delicious and good value.
We will be back.

First time visit to The Waterfront

Hotel and staff were lovely. Unfortunately following an event in the hotel, there was a party in an adjoining room and due to the noise it was impossible to sleep. We were unable to contact reception so we had to leave the hotel at 05.00 in the morning.

Amazing from start to finish. Food delicious, suite with Christmas tress was adorable and staff were so friendly.

Very helpful and friendly staff, great food, comfortable room …just a shame about the Donegal weather which was wild!

13 of us where here for a meal. Getting elderly family together (maybe for the last time due to where everyone stays). So a very important gathering for us.
It was busy …no empty tables.
But this did not affect the service. Staff were very attentive and prompt with their service.
Food was lovely! Everyone enjoyed their choice of meal!
A very warm and friendly atmosphere.
And the view from the front of the hotel was stunning.
This is definitely the hotel you want to visit!

You need to visit this Hotel!!!

Rooms nice but lack of cleaning. Spiders and ants in first room given after changing rooms the floors not cleaned. Windows and patio doors need a good clean or updated. Short staffed at dinner time not good.
