Lovely place to stay, made us feel very welcome from the start. Had lots of local knowledge and also places to eat. Ann was the star of the house, she helps her parents etc over the weekends and has a great way with words! She buzzes about at breakfast time, but still manages to talk. Breakfasts were tasty and filling. Our room was lovely at the back of the house, so extra quiet. The rest of the house and rooms looked great too. It all looked like it had been through a makeover so fresh and clean looking. I would recommend very highly 

We recently went to Ireland and our first stop was Dundalk; conveniently located half way between Dublin and Belfast. John and Maisie are the owners of this now 55 year old year B&B.  They sat with us in the evening and told us the history of the area and what it was like to live in Ireland during their 80 years of life. They are a beautiful representation of the Irish people; kind, accommodating, and well informed. 
The rooms are what you would expect of a B&B in Europe. The rooms are exceptionally clean, compact, but very nice. I didn't come for work, so  not having uninterrupted wifi was not an issue. 
You will love your stay the Rosemount B&B.

Stayed in this lovely bnb for 3 nights on a recent trip to visit our dahghter who is attending Dundalk IT which is directly across the road.We were made very welcome by the owner John and we were delighted with our room when he showed it to us.The room was modern and comfortable with everything you need,tea coffee and tv.Breakfast was great with a choice of cereals and full irish all served in a lovely decorated room by friendly staff.This is a wonderfull bnb and are looking forward to returning again,thanks again to John and Mazie for their kind hospitality 

I am doing this again as I forgot and then remembered my pass word! SO My husband & I spent a month travelling around Ireland and we used B&B most of the time and it was the best decision we made. Our first one was the Rosemount B&B and it was WONDERFUL Maisie & her husband could not do enough for us. The room was ground floor which we needed and the water jug & glasses were crystal. W were not there in the high season and the most we paid in any of the B&Bs was E80 for the two of us.(I know it will be dearer in the high season.)The breakfast was just delicious and filled us up so much we did not need lunch! and we had that meal overlooking a beautiful garden. I recommend this beautiful place to anyone travelling that way in Ireland.  

Beautifully decorated house with gorgeous gardens.  This is a lovingly cared for family home where guests are invited to stay.
Guest bedroom with ensuite was just beautiful. Shared sitting room with tv, antique style settinand lovely garden views. 
Beautiful breakfast room, laid out with fine china and we were served a delicious breakfast. Assortment of cereals, fruit, juice, toast and spreads with the choice of bacon, eggs, sausages, tomato,black & white pudding. A basket of soda bread and butter was also on the table. 
One evening we were treated to a plate of cake to go with our cuppa which we’d made in the room.
John has what is probably the best petunas I have ever seen, and a lovely assortment of bergonias. Most impressive display.th
Lovely hosts, beautiful home, great location, great price! I’m a hard marker but this ones a 12/10.

Stayed here for a very quick stopover.Room was spotless.Lady of the House was so helpful.We didn’t stay for breakfast as we had an early start.great location also for Dundalk stadium.would definitely stay again.

We stayed here in July and found it to be very beautiful, immaculately clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent, as it is right off of the main road and close to town. We loved our full Irish breakfast and the atmosphere and decor only made it better. There were lots of food options offered but we chose the hot breakfast and some fruit. The only negative thing I would mention is that the male owner was grumpy on our arrival. We had previously arranged to arrive around 11 p.m. and arrived just before 10 p.m. We even called ahead several days in advance and approved this through the manager and again with him that same evening, yet he seemed very unhappy about it on our arrival and it made us feel a little uncomfortable. However, the stay was perfect besides that and I would still recommend the place. The price was great.

Absolutely terrible very unprofessional place seem like nice people untill they are in your room going through your belongings, cleaning staff very unfriendly and make loud noise in early mornings banging hoover off the door and so on, breakfast is to a poor standard and you don’t get an option of quantity it’s just handed to you, beds are very uncomfortable and strong smelling of DAMP IN THE BEDROOM AND DAMP JUST THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN A B&B
