We stayed here for a week on a visit to Dublin. The accommodation is close to the centre of Dun Laoghaire which has excellent transport links to the whole of Dublin and surrounding areas. A Visitors Leap card gave us a weeks unlimited travel on Dublin buses and the DART light rail system for just €40 each. An hourly express coach from Dublin Airport to Dun Laoghaire costs €15 each return (Aircoach 703) and stops just 7 minutes from the premises. We stayed room only for €95 per night which is cheap for the Dublin area where hotels are ridiculously expensive. The twin room was squeaky clean and comfortable. It was light and airy with a flat screen TV with Irish channels only. The WiFi was fast enough to stream Netflix and YouTube without stuttering. A kettle with the usual accessories was provided and a range of toiletries as well. True, the place needs refurbishment but was perfectly adequate for us and very good value for what we paid. The staff especially Janine were extremely helpful and friendly. Ownership of the accommodation is to change in July. I hope the new owners do not spoil what in my opinion is a very nice establishment with excellent staff.
