We´ve been at Lorcan Lodge for 1 night. Location is between airport and Dublin town center. Take the bus number 16 to Dublin and leave it at the Omni Park Shopping center. From there it is a short walk to the Lorcan Lodge. 

Bus costs form Airport 3€ per person but you have to pay with coins and there is no change possible. Better to buy a tourist Leap card for 1 day or longer.

The lodge itself is very nice. We enjoyed the stay very much. Breakfast was great and more than enough.

Would go there any time again. Many thanks.

Fantastic place to stay

My parents and I recently stayed at the Lorcan Lodge while visiting Dublin and we are so happy we did. Rose is an an exceptional host who will help you in anyway she can. The rooms were cozy, beautiful, and very clean. We had a triple room with a double and single bed all ensuite.The B&B itself was very pretty in design with a beautiful garden!  Would highly recommend.

Beautiful place to stay!

I recently stayed at Lorcan Lodge with my mum and sister while visiting Dublin for a concert at Croke Park. Rose was so hospitable, really helpful organising taxis for us back and forth to the concert. The B&B is beautiful! We stayed in a triple room with a double and single bed, which had an en-suite. The room was bright and airy, beautifully decorated and the beds were comfortable. We had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was delicious and the garden is lovely and very relaxing to sit in. Rose was a fabulous host who thought of everything. We were pleasantly surprised at the standard of accommodation considering the price was so reasonable compared to other places we had priced for that weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning! Xx

Amazing

My sister and I recently stayed for 5 nights in this lovely b and b. It felt like a home away from home and the hosts Rose and Mick were so lovely and made us feel so welcome. Highly recommend this little gem and will definitely be returning again.

So happy we stayed with Rose at the Lorcan Lodge, so clean and tidy! Very nicely appointment in a quiet neighbourhood, enjoyed our evening in the lounge, great host and hostess as well as a beautiful breakfast! Everything you’d want in a B&B! Thanks!

Awesome place to stay!

We spent many nights in this lovely B&B within walking distance to the Beaumont Hospital and also close, by car, to the airport.. Hosts Rose and Michael were incredibly helpful and supportive organizing spaces for additional family members when they arrived.  Our rooms were exceptionally clean and well appointed and the continental breakfasts were tasty with a wide variety of choices.  A welcoming sitting room was available for quiet times. It was a short walk to a large shopping mall and bus stops. We would definitely recommend staying in this B&B.

Lovely quiet rooms, convenient location

After having read the wonderful reviews here I booked a stay and was acceptable but nothing to rave about.  The location was not bad.  It was close to the bus stop and then a 15 to 20 min ride from there.  Its just a 2 mile walk if you like to walk.  The place was well kept and clean and breakfast was good.  What more could you ask for, maybe a better welcome.  We arrived and it took a few minutes for the door to be answered.  We were shown to our room which was lovely.  It seemed like she didn't want to be bothered as it appeared they had company.  When I had trouble with the WIFI I was told well sometimes it doesn't work.  Nothing she can do about it I was told.  We dont charge for it.  Really I said that I booked here because you said you have WIFI.  Well it did turn out that the router just needed to be re-booted but to start off on a note like that just was not comfortable.  All in all it was a nice place but she does need to learn to live in the age of technology

Was just OK

My wife and I recently stayed here,one word sums it up..FANTASTIC,Rose our host was incredibly friendly and helpful.The place itself was spotlessly clean with good showers an extremely comfortable bed and one of the best breakfasts Ive had in a long time.Location wise this gem of a place is& in a quiet residential area and less than 5 minutes to the nearest bus stop which takes approx.25 mins to get to O'Connell Street(one  tip the fare is €2.70 have the correct change).
 I cannot recommend this place highly enough


Superb gem.

The location was extremely convenient. It was an easy walk to the bus stop for going to the center of Dublin and returning our rental car could not have been easier the morning we were flying back to the USA. A continental breakfast was ready for us as we left, since we left to early for the full breakfast. A great place to stay in Dublin.
