Have never eaten at the hotel before, and we only saw the menu on a walk which went past the hotel. As a result we ordered some food for collection and is was really delicious. 
The hotel offered great service that was compliant with Covid-19 safety guidance and the food was the best we have had during lockdown. As a result we will definitely be back and hope to come and eat at the restaurant in the future.

Delicious food and great service

My wife and I booked for Sunday Lunch last Sunday.
It was very enjoyable and a special word about the staff as they made you feel at home and were very attentive. I had fish with all the trimmings and started with prawn salad.
My wife had the duck with prawns to start. She had desert and coffee and I had my desert to take away for later as I was satisfied food wise.
The price is competitive and the place is clean and very presentable. 
We will go back without doubt.  There is a service charge so I did not leave a tip.

Sunday Lunch.

4 courses (one being Tea & Coffee) for €30 was a great deal and the food selection and quality was really really good (although you can't be serving sticky toffee pudding without ice cream :)).
Its a lovely cosy place, and would be lovely for dinner also I imagine.
Service was very good and we ha d alovely afternoon so I would definietly recommend.

Great Value Sunday Lunch

We only stayed one night but it was a good one. Such a beautiful Hotel! Our room was spacious and pretty. The bathroom was clean and nice too. It was nice and quiet after our long flight from America. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and good for the energy we needed to start our day.

short but good stay

Unfortunately my stay was only one night but I loved everything I saw. 
The building is full of character, and comfort, with a nice lounge, restaurant and bar area. 
The staff were friendly & helpful and really good company. 
And my suite was lovely, large and very comfortable. 
I look forward to returning.

Wish I could have stayed longer!

Visited here recently for a family meal. Lovely and cosy and very friendly staff. In fact the lady taking our order made it her business to tell us that what we had ordered from the a la carte menu was also available on the pre-set menu and, as such, was cheaper. So nice to see this for a change as a lot of these places want to squeeze as much money out of you as they can. Food was lovely and the ambience perfect. Will definitely visit here again!!

Pleasant Family Meal

Me and my boyfriend stayed here before flying off on our holidays and I can’t thank this hotel enough for making us feel so welcome. The food was absolutely Devine 😍 the dining room and sitting area was so cosy and the staff are so friendly. Our room was super clean and warm. Definitely would recommend to anyone, this place should not be rated at 3 stars, worth so much more. Will definitely be back! 🙂

Warm cosy home

Stayed here on a Sunday night in early September. 
On arrival, the place was 100% deserted apart from a single member of staff. I commented on the fact that the bar was completely empty and the staff member told me that there was only two other people staying on that Sunday night - another couple. 
My inclination was to leave but when the staff member phoned the owner he was told that we would have to pay in full as we had booked via Booking.com and he would have to pay their commission. 
Faced with that situation we decided to make the best of it. 
We went to our room (suite, actually as I had booked one). It was super in terms of space, cleanliness and creature comfort. It was a bit disconcerting to find a large millipede crossing the living room floor but perhaps not to be unexpected given the amount of vegetation close to windows and balcony. 
We could not bring ourselves to drink in the deserted bar. We went to an off-license in the town and bought a bottle of wine. On return, the staff member had two wine glasses waiting for us to take to our suite. 

We passed the evening agreeably and slept well in a very comfortable bed. The following morning, the shower was excellent. 

BREAKFAST:  probably the worst I’ve ever encountered. No hot food of any kind whatsoever. A small range of Kellogg’s commercial cereals in portion packs, no fresh fruit at all. Over cooked cold croissants with strawberry jam or nothing and pieces of a brown bread of indeterminate parentage. It was revolting. 
Tea and coffee were brought to table by a charmless lady. A single cup of each. No offer of more or even a question as to whether we might have wanted more. 
I would not stay again

I checked and found that the nearby Springfield Hotel would have given us a standard room, full cooked breakfast and a busy bar for €27 less than we had to pay for this place. 

It was not an enjoyable experience. We had a balcony to our suite that had a view of the weeds and uncared for back if the property. 

Unique place but doesn’t deliver the goods. 

Don’t know what to say. 

Hotel was not in Dublin but was in a great location.Staff were fantastic and the meals very good.Large rooms.

Nice people, clean and comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. What more could you ask for when making a one night visit.
