This is a long overdue review. My family and relations stayed at this fantastic hotel some years back. It was a reunion and we were all very well looked after. The reception and all the people working here have a "can do" approach to all the guests and patrons using the bar and restaurant. 
The food here is lovely and well presented. The hotel uses locally sourced ingrediencies and this makes the food tasty and environmentally good for the planet.
I highly recommend this as the place to stay when visiting this beautiful part of Donegal. Thank you  for making our stay one filled with great memories. 5STARS 

Wonderful Hotel and extremely friendly staff 

This is one of the best weekends away I have had in recent years. Teac Jack is a fantastic little hotel in Bunbeg Co Donegal, the staff here - the lovely man that welcomed us and checked us in, the excellent bar/ restaurant staff, the very friendly ladies that served us breakfast and the lovely lady that checked us out- they were all wonderful and so friendly. The bar was very lively, a large crowd were in to watch the rugby final on the first night, once the match was over there was live music singing and dancing- great craic! I did have concerns that we might not get any sleep as the bar was still very active when we headed for bed, but our room was very quiet and really comfortable.  We had travelled to Donegal for the Fomhair festival, and we were delighted to hear that the hotel had organised a bus to bring people to and from the festival ( even the bus trip was great craic!) Back to the bar afterwards for more singing and dancing!  There is a great menu in the bar, huge portions, well cooked and presented. Breakfast was a pleasant experience- small selection of cereals etc, but a great selection of  items on a menu to be  served freshly cooked.
The surrounding area is a really beautiful part of Donegal, you will need a car, but there are stunning mountain views and fab beaches to visit.
Our two night stay, with breakfast, over the October Bank Holiday weekend was excellent value for money, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back again. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay- We will be back!

Great weekend at Teac Jack

Beautiful location, very nice, spacious and comfortable room. Clean bathroom and room. Very very nice staff who were super helpful and friendly. Food was tasty, breakfast was included and made to order and the views were gorgeous!

Would go back!

Brilliant location, staff so lovely and friendly.  Make sure if you're there on a Tuesday night to check out the ceili, so much fun.  There's a great atmosphere in the bar / lounge, where we ate both nights.  Food was beautiful, really nice.  The vanilla ice cream that came with dessert was amazing, worth a special mention!  Breakfast was lovely, hot food made to order.  Bloody foreland is a short drive away for amazing views and sunsets.  Ideal location for exploring Gweedore. 

Brilliant location and lovely food 

Just back from Teac Jack yesterday after spending the weekend there .What can I say other than nothing was too much for the staff to do for you.Had table reserved in the lounge for dinner for the sat and sun eve and food portions were large and service quick .Taste was even better 👌.Plenty of selection of beers etc and Guinness excellent and the Birra Morretti lol .Staff always attentive and locals friendly and enjoyed the sports together on the TV and the live entertainment on the sat and Sunday eve ..Close to Bad Eddie and the beach and for discovering the beautiful county of Donegal .Thank you from Myself and Margaret for making our stay stress free and also your warm hospitality.We will certainly be back soon .❤️

First Class Accommodation 👍👍

Really good. On a walking trip with friends stayed in a single room. Clean and functional. Tv in room. Can’t fault accommodation.   Staff were lovely and local everything was ‘no bother’.  Food was excellent.  1/2 portions would be an idea. There was a beach walk literally five mins away.  Recommend this hotel.

Trekking trip in Donegal.

It’s been a few years since my last visit, but it was worth the wait.  The quality of the food is second to none.  Generous and tasty portions at affordable prices and friendly service and good Guinness.  Highly recommend for food.

Great Food

Group of us stayed for one night, had great food in the bar and a good nights craic in the bar with live music and a good crowd.  Rooms were good as was the breakfast.

Staff were great, very friendly and helpful especially the young lady on reception, didn’t get her name but she was excellent.

Great for a friends night away

The room was clean and fresh, the towels were white and fluffy. 
The bathroom is spacious although the shower was over the bath. 
We had a problem with the radiator and the host was up within about 3 - 4 mins with a plug-in radiator. He bled the radiator and told us if we had any more trouble not to hesitate to call him again. 

Really good service. 

Short break. 

Had a 2 night stay. Spacious clean room front facing with seaviews. Friendly personable staff and lively ground floor bar. We ate on 1st night. Very tasty. All in all we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
