Very nice and helpful hosts. Rita had tons of great info & tips about the area and things to do and see. We ended up having an excellent trip on the ferry out to the islands as a result.
Great spot and facilities.

Amazing view from every direction. Comfortable clean cozy room.  Excellent breakfeast with homemade delicious scones. Easy to get to both the cliffs and Doolin town for music.  Research music scene so that you hopefully will get into a session and not one designed for tourists but even those are terrific.

First trip to the area and booked a night's stay online so didn't know what to expect.  The drive to the property, one of maybe half dozen on a country lane sitting above the town of Doolin took us past Doonagore, a well preserved castle guarding the coast.  What awaited was a treat - modern, spotless decor and facilities and a room facing the ocean with expansive 180 deg views: Aran Islands, even across to Connemara.  Rita and Tony were most helpful without being overbearing or phony.  Breakfast started with Rita's homemade baked goods and rhubarb jam, followed by farm fresh eggs and smoked salmon, topped off with fresh fruit and yogurt.  My kind of vacation breakfast!  We stayed until checkout time just to soak in every bit of the view and country atmosphere.  Only downside was needing to drive down to town/dining/pubs (but < 5 min!). Highly recommended and will definitely return.

My husband and I stayed here for one night (under less than ideal circumstances since he woke up sick that morning). However, we were grateful to be staying at Castlebrook B&B, because we felt very at home here. It was a peaceful location and perfectly clean/cozy room. But, above all else Rita and Tony were very kind and helpful hosts! Rita gave us some recommendations for local pubs/music, and for the rest of our trip up to Galway. The B&B is very conveniently located if you'd like to see the Cliffs of Moher. Breakfast was one of the best we had in all of Ireland. The homemade scones are delicious! We are so glad we stayed here, and would definitely return.
