Atlantic View Bed & Breakfast

We arrived at the Atlantic View early with plans to go to Inishmore that day.  Eileen and Mark were so accommodating.  They feed us an amazing breakfast prior to our day trip to the Aran Island.  When we returned, our luggage was already brought to our room. The room had a spectacular view of the Cliffs of Moher . We actually loved watching the cows in the pasture just outside the window too.  It was within walking distance to the pubs in town. Would highly recommended staying here.

A very warm welcome from the owner.   We had an amazing view of the Cliffs of Moher from our bedroom window.   The room was exceedingly comfortable, including the bed, and we slept very well.  Breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice and hot food cooked to order.  Would highly recommend.

This was one of my favorite places to stay in Ireland! The location was wonderful. The views were spectacular of the Cliffs of Moher!  We walked to the local pubs in Doolin and walked to the ferry for a trip to Aran Islands. Eileen and Mark were amazing and the breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend Atlantic View Bed & Breakfast in Doolin!

Eileen took really good care of my wife and myself for the week that we stayed in the Atlantic View B&B. She saw to our every need and Mark was exceptionally wonderful. The cottage has a wonderful view of the Cliffs of Moher and Mark gave me hints to where to take the best panoramic photo. It all was simply beyond words. Eileen and Mark were such wonderful hosts that we truly hated to leave. We can't wait to return.  

Absolutely wonderful! The best breakfast we've had in ages. View of the Cliffs of Moher out one bedroom window and the closest of the Aran Islands out the other. Warm, helpful, fabulous hosts. Walking distance to pubs and shops as well as the Aran Island ferries. 

Excellent location near the Main Street with pubs and cliff views. 
The lady wasn’t the host, just helping them out but she was very accommodating. We were originally meant to be in a twin room but she gave us a choice of two rooms which she showed us around and left us to choose. 
The view from the bedroom window was fabulous. We were in room 2 and we could see the cliffs from one side and the sunset later at night from the other window. Room was large. 
Breakfast was help yourself initially and then someone came to take your order. Choice of salmon or bacon or sausage and egg or Irish breakfast. Car park straight out the front.
Would definitely recommend.

We spent 3 nights in Doolin with 10 adult family members. The Atlantic view was a bit outside of Doolin near the pier. Once we parked our cars we didnt need to drive for several days. Hiking into town took a few minutes and with fields of sheep and the cliffs of Moher as our walking view it wasn’t hard. Honestly the Doolin parking was almost all the way to the hotel as it was so busy so walking may have been faster. 
We hiked to the cliffs of Moher from the hotel, took the local shuttle back to Doolin, we walked the shops and pubs, The ferries to the Aran island were located on the other side of the B and B so we were able to walk there and hop on the ferry easily. The view from almost every room and the dining area were of fields and the cliffs of Moher as well with a small pitch and putt next door. Easy walking to the local beaches with Burren landscapes. The location was perfect with beautiful views, quiet nights, and the breakfasts in the morning were great and filling. 
There was seating room upstairs for our large group in the evening for a little chat and a drink to unwind and the hosts were helpful and friendly.

Couldn't have been better

We were traveling by rental car a full loop around the island of Ireland. We arrived here Sunday, May 21, 2023 to stay one night to take the ferry in the morning to Inish Mor. Atlantic View B&B is a fairly new place being built in 1974 and then completely renovated in 2000, so the place looked to be in great condition. Wonderful view from our room of the Atlantic and Cliffs Of Moher. Also a very short drive (5 minutes) to the ferry parking lot. One more positive, was the breakfast. Very nicely appointed room with great views from the windows. Breakfast was "anything you want on the menu".   The reason this review was given only an average rating was for the following:

When we arrived about 5 PM to front door was locked and we had to ring the bell. We waited about 10 minutes before Eileen (the owner) answered the door. She was very short with us, just handed us the keys and told us the room number. We wanted to ask a few questions and she cut us off and said, "everything is in the book in the room".  That was it, never saw her again. I do understand that her partner Kevin was not doing so well, so maybe that is the reason. Possibly they need to hire some help with things. The room was large with 3 beds (only my wife and I needing one bed) 1970s furniture. When we were settling in for the evening we found that the bedside lamps did not work. Also could not get the TV to work, even following the written instructions in "the book".  There were 2 pants press thingys in the room.  We never saw anything like that before, let alone 2 in one room. Who the heck uses things like that?  We had no way to contact anyone for help with the TV or the lamps as no one answers downstairs. All things considered, not worth the price paid so just an average rating.
