Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in this beautiful hotel. It was very tastefully decorated for Christmas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I will make sure to stay at least 2 nights on my next trip to Cork. Just a short walk into the city centre.

Return visit with work. A very warm welcome is always extended by reception team. All the staff are so accommodating and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. A must is a cocktail or 2. Breakfast choice is exceptional. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

I would highly recommend this hotel for a little luxury in the heart of cork city. The staff are so welcoming and nothing is an issue for them to accommodate their guests. Quality and choice of food is great and nice to see local produce on the menu too. The terrace gives a lovely view of the city and we plan to return in the summer as I think it will be even more amazing a view with the sun shining. The cocktail bar was a lovely after dinner setting and the live music really added to this. The staff really made the experience of staying in this hotel so enjoyable and the hotel itself is a great place to relax and unwind.

A truly beautiful hotel, with wonderful staff that make you feel at home. This was our 2nd time staying here in recent times, and it continues to impress. Rooms are beautiful,  and the restaurant and cocktail bar offer a wonderful view of the city.

This was a return visit, one of many, to our favourite hotel in Cork City. We love the location as it is a short stroll to McCurtain Street which has lovely coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and shops. But there is so much to do at the hotel we like staying around the hotel too. The facilities, cinema - a real treat, gorgeous bar and restaurant - I'd give layout of this place 5 stars - as alot of hotels have charmless restaurant facilities - not here though. The panaramic view from the bar/restaurant is spectacular - all year round. And there's more - a beautiful cocktail bar and spectacular gardens to admire or walk around. Then the staff, the Chef made my elderly mother a perfect omlette in the evening and my sister Turkish eggs for her breakfast. They really cant do enough for you, and their service is genuine and friendly. A lovely concierge too, to give advice, help and a friendly chat. Real old-world charm, in a beautiful modern hotel, in fantastic location. Can't wait to go back. Thanks for all you did for us, including giving our preferred bedroom - with that view!!

My wife and I had an amazing experience staying at the Montenotte hotel in September. We had just tied the knot in the city that same day, then upon arrival we were met by Danielle who sought to our every need, including a room upgrade, bottle of Prosecco and chocolates in the room! The room itself was fantastic, over looking the whole of cork, but really you can do this from anywhere in the hotel, the place is amazing. I would highly recommend a stay at the Montenotte Hotel for any occasion. Thank you so much for making our special day even more special! We cannot wait to go back! Alec

Went to the Glass house on Friday, lovely atmosphere with music.  The drinks were unique and delicious.  Jake was our server and was extremely polite and accommodating. Would definitely recommend will be returning!!!!

Having traveled to the Emerald Isle for the past 20+ years, and after a pandemic induced hiatus, I was fortunate to return once more in February 2023.  I have stayed in a number of fine hotels in Cork County and can honestly say that I was most impressed with my most recent stay at the Montenotte.  The prominent location on the hillside overlooking Penrose Dock and the River Lee provides a splendid vista of the city both during the day and at night.  The hotel is a unique blend of old-world charm coupled with all the modern amenities one needs for an extended stay or a weekend getaway.  The entire staff is courteous, genuinely friendly, and quite helpful.  You can enjoy multiple on-site venues including the bar, restaurant and Glass House, and outdoor garden all with panoramic views.  There is a parlor with an inviting sitting area complete with fireplace and on-site cinema with twice daily viewings of feature films.  it is a reasonable stroll down the hill into city center and St. Patrick's Street.  Looking forward to my return this summer for another stay.

We had the most amazing weekend in the Montenotte Hotel enjoying the couples package. The hotel staff were amazing and we used the amazing spa facilities, enjoyed a private movie and availed of the cocktail making class. The private movie showing was really special and I would recommend.  We had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious, in particular the breakfast buffet. A huge thank you to the guest relations manager Danielle for making our weekend so special. We cannot wait to book back into the Montenotte in the summer time. 

I stay in the Montennotte on a regular basis for work and work events and I’ve yet to have even a mildly bad experience.  Everything about it is just right.  It’s not too big so there’s a person touch, the decor is soooo cool and comfort is second to none from the restaurant and bar to the bedrooms, pillows sheets and beds.  
In the evening you’ll find some Irish chocolate and a candle lighting in your bathroom.  
The staff are so professional and warm the food is Devine. One of my favorite things about the Montennotte is the cinema it’s so plush and comfortable with a movie on every night, there is a gym a pool, gardens and a view to die for- and while I’ve never had the time to visit the spa I imagine it’s as good as everything else so you’ll soon realize there are very few reasons to leave the hotel at all.

Montenotte Hotel is Corks best hotel!

This has to be the best hotel I have visited in Ireland. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Ken the doorman who deserves a special mention the entire experience was amazing. Each and every staff member we encountered could not do more to please us. We had treatments in the Spa which was the best massage I have ever had. Rachel was the girl who looked after me. I had Breakfast everyday, Lunch one day and Dinner another day. The food was lovely each time and the view makes it an amazing experience. Especially at nighttime.

Each staff member was so friendly and quick to help if anything was needed. 
The hotel room was very quiet and dark.
Gorgeous vibes and views from the restaurant and glasshouse bar.
Spa experience was so amazing and relaxing.

I have recommended this place to a lot of family and friends already.

Next time I would stay another night to enjoy the other facilities such as the cinema.

Best Hotel you’ll ever stay in - Ever!

We decided to treat ourselves and we weren’t disappointed from the gentleman at front door who took my bag to reception the receptionist was friendly and efficient from reception to our room the decor was fabulous and welcoming our room was spotless clean and comfortable with everything we needed and loved the calm comfortable decor of the bedroom the view over the city was brilliant to look at while we had our meal with the friendly team in the Bar and Restaurant a special thank you to Eithne and all the team we met during our stay

An exceptional hotel with friendly staff who made me feel welcome the minute I arrived. Ken the concierge and Gavin are two of the friendliest most helpful guys i have met. i was travelling for business and they could not have been more accommodating nothing was  too much trouble. The hotel itself is beautiful, fabulous view and the bistro food is incredible as are the team who work there. The rooms are beautiful and have a real luxury feel to them, clean and the decor is divine. I would highly recommend this hotel also the Glasshouse Cocktail Bar another amazing space for drinks and friendly service.
