Jerry & Ann are the perfect hosts with a lovely home to share.  And this is why we were back staying (for 3 nights this year) with them for the 4th straight year.  When you find something great with terrific hosts you return.  The room as always was impeccably clean and comfortable.  With so much to see in the area and day trips to Galway, Connemara area, Ashford Castle and "The Quiet Man" film locations with good dinner food choices in Cong and Clonbur this is a great area to stay for more than 1 night.

Another terrific stay

Hazel Grove B&B is a beautiful property in the amazingly historical village of Cong. Its very clean, comfortable & homely. Ann the host is so welcoming, she made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. She made me feel so welcome and safe. She's very thoughtful & very warming. I felt like i'd known her for years. I would highly recommend Hazel Grove & I'll will definitely be staying there again! Highly Recommend Hazel Grove !!

The service was excellent. The family was very nice. The room was clean and large. Cong is a great location to be able to take daily interesting excursions in every direction. The Continental breakfast was more than enough.

Welcome Home!

Actually, this is not a B&B at the moment, because breakfast is not offered at the moment. However, you can get baked goods, yogurt, cereal, fruits and beverages in the room or you can make coffee or tea. However, we liked it here. Cheap compared to the other accommodation options in and around Cong, of course. We felt comfortable and recommend Hazelgrove as a starting point for tours to Connemara and Co. Mayo.

Nice B&B, very clean room, nice hostess

Best home made scones you'll ever taste! A quiet retreat with a real fireplace to warm you in the evening after touring the local castle and enjoying a real Irish coffee in a real Irish pub after dinner. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Cong was a delightful spot to spend a few days.

Booked through Bookings.com and arrived on time to find nobody home (later found out that owner was attending a family funeral) Could not contact owner on phone number provided. Contacted booking agent who located alternative accommodation. Could have been left high and dry, really not acceptable to treat guests this way, should have been contactable or left note etc to alert us. Also found out later had booked a B&B with no Breakfast included! (be careful when booking)

Big thanks to Anne and her lovely house.  The place is very clean, cosy and in a very short driving to the town of Cong and Ashford Castle.  The host also gave us the fresh continental breakfast which was not even included in our purchase through the website.  I also found out later that we can also book with them directly at hazelgrovecong@gmail.com.  hope to be at this lovely town and cosy place again. :)

Lovely hospitality and nice warm rooms

Outside of Cong is a very well appointed B&B.  The hostess has taken care of every detail that North Americans would expect.   Although I found it cold (Ireland in Oct after all), the hostess was quick to ensure the hot water heating was working.  She had plenty of extra blankets and pillows.  She does not offer a cooked breakfast but the room is well equipped with a continental breakfast.  Everything was spectacularly clean and modern.  Well done and thank you.

Very Fine B&B

We took the triple downstairs and the quad upstairs. They're spacious, very clean, free parking, you have to take the car to the city centre. Ann was very hospitable and kind. We had the continental breakfast in the room.

Spacious rooms

A pearl of b&b just outside Cong. Ann is very nice, the rooms are very clean, with bathroom, big as the bed. Every day she has us find cookies in the room, besides the classic tea. Breakfast is rich and varied. Not to be missed if you stay in the area.
