We were amazed at how lovely this place was for the price we paid.  We loved the historic character of the building and the impressive grounds.  Our room was very clean, comfortable and private.  It was just a short walk into town with close proximity to many restaurants and pubs, and very close to the Rock of Cashel.  The host gave us great insider tips on where to go and how to get some local discounts.  Breakfast was great too.  We wished we could have stayed longer!  We would definitely recommend this location to anyone traveling to Cashel.

We stayed here two different times during out trip. One of which was a last minute change of plans and Bernice was able to accomodate us. They are less than a 10 minute walk into town and very doable. Bernice is extremely nice and helpful!

What an unbelievable place. Such grandeur at such a great price. Aulber House is a little walk from the main town "square" .(only about 5 minutes) but do not let this deter you as it is so worth staying here. Everything about our stay was great and couldn't recommend it more highly. 

Aulber House exceeded our expectations! We felt very welcome by the owner, who is very kind and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and the house is even more beautiful! Very clean and wecoming. It was an easy walk into the town of Cashel. We wished we could have stayed longer.

I bring groups of people to Ireland and this year I had my largest group ever. There were 21 of us and we all were able to stay comfortably at Aulber House. Bernice is tremendous and she bends over backwards to ensure we all had a good experience. The home is beautiful, the breakfasts are great, and the location is superb.

An older but well maintained property with plenty of parking, well prepared breakfast and a pleasant location just out of the busy city center.     Rock of Cashel is just a bit away on the other side of town.  Room was comfortable.  The internet was down the night we were there.  But found some interesting Irish TV to keep us entertained till bedtime.

Visiting Ireland with family and driving around to various locations.  Stopped to see the Rock of Cashel and had a lovely overnight at Aulber House.  This is a wonderfully comfortable and spacious B&B with superb hospitality.  The room had every convenience that a North American would appreciate. And the breakfast was fantastic!  This would be a great location to stay at and make day trips to various south and west points of interest in Ireland.  I highly recommend this B&B.

We found Aulber House listed on the Accessible Ireland website and it didn't disappoint. We are one manual wheelchair traveler and one able body so this review is mostly related to the accessible nature of Aulber and room we stayed in. The house was easily accessed with a small ramp over threshold at the back into the dining room. The common areas were all hardwood and the home lovely! The room was spacious and easy to get around. The shower was awesome. There was a half wall with doors that opened fully out of way; you could roll in and transfer to a bench or stand with ease. There were grab bar and a bench in the shower and the shower head removable. The water was hot and the pressure amazing - we had read some reviews of other places in Cashel that had poor water pressure but this was not one of them! The toilet was raised so depending on your commode, it may not fit over. There were plenty of grab bars easy to transfer on and the sink was braced without impeding ability to roll right under. Breakfast was great and plenty of variety; huge portions if you order hot food. We highly recommend Aulber House for anyone but of all the 7 places we stayed, this was high on the list for accessibility - well done!

The grounds are stunning and the location is terrific.  Its a short walk into town. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and the price was right. Owner provided good recommendations on things to do around town. Would definitely recommend.

What a jewel of a place to stay!  The grounds were impeccably maintained, lovely to walk on.  Our room was tasteful and spacious and the bathroom was large enough to fit a queen size bed!  The common rooms were welcoming, as was our hostess.  It was an easy walk into Cashel, and the street lights extended just far enough to make it safe. Our 2 nights there were restful, and the food was excellent with a very pleasant breakfast room.

Fancy Accommodations at a Great Price, Helpful Hosts

I'll always return to Aulber House

Very quirky hotel. We enjoyed it but it would not suit every one. Bedroom was fine and comfortable. No TV in our bedroom. There is a TV in the lounge but we could only find one programme. Breakfast good. Staff very friendly and helpful in finding restaurants.Front door works on a Yale lock and easy to lock oneself out without a key.
Garden is very pleasant and well done

Well located quiet B & B.

Very nice property located within walking distance to Cashel's points of interest.
