Excellent stay. Very welcoming and friendly host. I wish we could've stayed longer! 
Great breakfast nothing too much trouble at all!!! 
Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. We ate at the golf club for evening meal as not an option in hotel, but it was easy and great food.

Mary and James Beasley run the most wonderful B&B right beside Ballybunion Golf Club.
The Royal Portrush golf team received a lovely welcome.
The place is spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable.
Mary and James couldn’t do enough to help us. 
The breakfasts were delicious and varied .

Mary and James are fabulous hosts. Our stay here was fabulous with a beautiful location, food and hospitality. It really felt like a home from home and I couldn't recommend the 19th Lodge enough for any type of stay you require in Ballybunion.

Thank you Mary and James. After a long day of travel I was relieved to come to 19th Lodge. Mary was so welcoming and got my details while rushing to clean the room. I was in very early. This is truly like staying in their home. I am usually a high end hotel/resort traveler but this is different. Nothing fancy but impeccably clean and comfortable. Don’t need to lock your door kind of small place. The shower pressure is great and hot water aplenty. I took a nice bath in the tub after 36 holes. The food is delicious and James makes sure to take care of you, whatever is needed. This felt like staying at a great auntie’s home. Definitely stay here if you are playing golf next door. Only thing to know is that the town is over a mile walk. I drove into town for the day. Otherwise I ate/drank at the golf clubhouse and Strollers next door for a nicer dinner. No wonder they have repeat customers from years and even decades. 

What a wonderful place to stay!!! Mary and James Beasley and their staff all showed quintessential Irish hospitality. They were kind beyond words! Our rooms was lovely and had all the amenities that we needed. Beds were comfortable, plenty of linens. The breakfast was exceptional, everything was delicious. One of the best places we stayed on our 2 week trip. If you are a golfer you are next door to the greens. Enjoy!!!

What a great surprise to arrive to this wonderful guesthouse and welcomed by Mary who I knew would be as warm and lovely in person as she was when booking over the phone. There were 7 of us, staying on business over the weekend and Mary and James made us feel so welcome, we felt as if we were on holidays .. when we arrived in the evening of our first night, we were looking for somewhere to eat and Mary instantly said she would called around the restaurants and got us booked into a place in the town as it was very busy around .. nothing was too much trouble.. 

The rooms were second to none, very spacious with seriously comfortable beds, a beautiful bathroom and everything perfectly clean and laid out. So relaxing after working all day.

There is a beautiful perfectly laid out breakfast room with views of the golf course, again beautifully laid out, bright and relaxing. But the best thing is the breakfast menu, with all you could ask for .. you will not have to worry about eating for a while after Mary's home cooked full breakfast .. you wouldn't find better in a 5 star hotel .. it is that amazing 😍

It's so obvious when you stay at the 19th Lodge that Mary and James have put there heart and sole into every part of their guesthouse and making everyone who is lucky enough to stay with them feel as good as we did after experiencing their truly warm and inviting hospitality.

We arrived in Ballybunion late Saturday evening and booked the 19th lodge as we had seen it com up on a few searches, Mary and James were wonderful wholesome hosts.
Mary gave us a very warm welcome on arrival and was an absolute delight.
We were booked in no trouble and the room, a superior double room with extra large bed was more like an apartment!!
The bed was huge and very comfortable, all possible amenities were catered for and Mary and James were on hand for anything should we need it, which thanks to their wonderful hospitality we needed nothing.
Situated on the edge of the Ballybunion Links golf course the views are beautiful and only a short drive to the local unspoiled town of Ballybunion, a great base for a bit of everything.
We spent a very quiet evening and had a wonderful nights sleep to be greeted with and amazing home cooked breakfast the following morning, James was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble.
Very courteous staff and an absolute gem of a place to find at short notice. Amazing

I had the pleasure of staying with Mary & James at the 19th Lodge back in Aug 2022. They are an amazing couple to stay with and are so kind and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic too. I’d really recommend staying here if visiting the Ballybunion area. I would definitely stay here with Mary and James again. 10/10

Mary and James are true gems of hospitality. Beaufiful property, excellent location and most of all the warmest Irish welcome you could possibly have. This is more than a B&B. The rooms and beds are enormous, immaculate and beautiful. The breakfast abundant and delicious. The location, across the road from the famed Ballybunion GC, is second to none. You are assured a fabulous stay and friends for life. Don't miss out!

Best stay ever!

Wow, where to start. You were greeted by the most amazing Mary and made to feel at home immediately. It was like staying with family. 

The shower was amazing and I had to drag my husband Kevin out of it. The breakfast was equally fantastic, especially the sausage which was large.

I would recommend this highly, not just for the golf, not just for the breakfast, but for the amazing Mary who is truely unique. She could not make you feel more welcome. 

My husband and I will be returning.

If anyone finds a broken 52* wedge on the 9th at the Cashan, apologies. That was my playing partner Ronan who has anger management issues

Perfect

Mary and James are absolutely the best hosts. They make you feel part of their family during your stay. Accommodations are warm and welcoming, Their breakfast in the morning is such a lovely way to start the day. Just a few minute walk from the Ballybunion clubhouse and a few minutes away from town, the 19th Lodge the best place to stay in town. I've visited twice and look forward to my next trip back.

True Irish Hospitality

Mary and James are wonderful hosts who welcome you into their lodge and treat you like family. Everything you ask for gets taken care of. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfasts are great. Extremely convenient to the golf course (across the street and just outside of town. I’ve stayed here many times and highly recommend it!
