We stayed here for one night before we had to leave for the airport. Carmel is lovely she was very accommodating as we had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight.she cooked us an early breakfast and it was the best one we had on our break. Homemade overnight oats were delicious and best I have ever tasted. Everything was perfect, lovely room and en-suite.We would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Bright, spacious and comfortable room, spotlessly clean. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast - no reheated rashers!. So much better than what was on offer from local hotels - including better value. Lovely hosts. 

My family had an amazing experience at Conways B&B property . Both Carmel and Pat were just fabulous in welcoming and letting us know the local must visit places . We had gone to Knock shrine and decided to stay over night before heading back home . Managed to explore the town pretty well . Morning breakfast was just superb and we all loved it !

My wife and I spent 2 weeks touring Western Ireland, and devoted the last 4 days to a family history search in County Mayo.  We opted to stay at the Conways B&B next to Claremorris in order to visit the Irish Heritage Center and also visit cemeteries and search for relatives in the area.  I called Carmel to book our stay, and during that process I explained our plans.  Upon arrival we were greeted by Pat at which time (to our complete surprise and pleasure) he presented us with a summary of his research regarding our family, including the name and contact info for our newly discovered cousin!  Within an hour we were at our cousin’s home and thereafter, instead of bouncing around the area knocking on doors we spent the next couple of days getting to know him while drinking Guinness and touring the old homestead.  What a gift.  And regarding the Conways B&B accommodations, the charming proprietors opened up their lovely and comfortable farmhouse and could not have been more gracious hosts.  And the icing on the cake is a hearty and outstanding breakfast. We look forward to staying there again.  Slainte to Carmel and Pat!

We really enjoyed staying at Conways B&B. A beautiful place central to all the lovely places you’d want to visit in Mayo.
We were well looked after by Pat and Carmel, their breakfast was amazing, starting with fresh fruit, followed by a cooked Irish breakfast. Homemade breads and jams, smoked salmon and pancakes were also on offer.
The rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds vey comfortable.
We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Carmel and Pat are fantastic hosts and very friendly and attentive.  Lovely welcome with tea and cake despite the late night arrival.  Breakfast was amazing, all home made and plentiful.  Rooms and very clean and comfortable and would not hesitate to book again.

Absolutely wonderful breakfast served here. Both Carmel and Pat are wonderful hosts. Such good value, plus their local knowledge led us to the gastro pub down the road where we ate a very nice meal. P. S. The homemade blueberry muffin was delicious ❤️

This is my first experience with a bed and breakfast and my first time in Ireland. My experience far exceeded my expectations.  Carmel and Patrick were wonderful hosts.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. We arrived in Dubin and drove directly to Conway's without sleeping for 24 hours.  They let us in early and were very gracious to us.  This place definitely set the bar high for the next Bed and Breakfast I decided to book.

We booked, very last minute as we were going to the papal visit. We then had a surprise visitor and I had emailed to amend booking. Carmel sent a lovely email saying it was no issue and there would be no additional charge which was superb. I explained that we would be leaving very early and that we didn't need any breakfast. 
The day of arrival was a disaster on our part and we called to say we would be late, Carmel was very gracious and despite the late hour was so welcoming, Our room were spotlessly clean with extra fluffy pillows, perfectly ironed sheets etc. Water and coffee/teas biscuits were also in the room. The en suite shower room had dispensing  shampoos, shower gel and conditioner. Again we let Carmel know that we would leaving very early (5:30 am) and she let us know where to leave the key etc. We had a great nights sleep in a very cosy and homely room. The following morning we were up and as we were about to leave Carmel met us in the hallway to say that there was some hot coffee/tea in the dining room, when we went in, the dining room was all set, home made scones, breads, cereals all prepared, juices. Another table was already seated presumably going to the same event as ourselves. The dining room was very homely but we had privacy at our own table etc. There was the choice of a cooked breakfast if we so wished . We were amazed that at that time, so much was prepared for us ( considering the late hour we arrived 11:15 pm), our hosts were so thoughtful and attended to our needs without being intrusive and I can honestly say went above and beyond. I cannot recommend Conway's enough, so homely so clean and welcoming, perfectly displaying the famous Irish hospitality. They also checked ahead for us to find out how the traffic was etc.
I  think it should be noted that this appeared to be one of the very few b & B's within a 5 min commute to a major ticketed event that did not appear to have ridiculous prices, Carmel does what she does very well and just generally good people! A fantastic stay!Thank you so much.

Celebrating a significant wedding anniversary we were joined by family from Australia and Canada, a total of 5 adults and 3 grand children, Conway's B&B not only provided us with superb accommodation and breakfast but also additional information of what to see and do. Pat and Carmel were delightful hosts and made us feel at home during our two day stay with them. The situation also suited our rather hectic schedule to do Northern Ireland in only 5 days. Starting at  Conway's  set a very high standard  for the rest of our trip. Thanks Pat and Carmel for a wonderful time. From  Perth Australia.

Touring Northern Ireland with extended family

We called spur of the moment late in the day, and Carmel graciously gave us perfect directions to get to their place, which is outside of town. Everything was impeccable, the gardens, room and breakfast! She clearly put a lot of effort and pride in every aspect of the property. The breakfast was excellent- she made us both delicious omelets and there were homemade breads, jams and freshly made dark roast coffee! For all of this, the price was incredibly reasonable (and what was advertised). I cannot understand the poor review given, I can only guess that person has never visited Ireland before, or at least stayed at a real b&b here. There is no central heating in houses here like in the States and I think they didn't know how to use the shower. The same thing happened to me until I fiddled with it and figured out how to use it! Then I got a beautiful, hot shower in a very nice bathroom. I would definitely stay here again and recommend Conways to my friends if they are looking for a b&b around Claremorris.

Wonderful and impeccable

This delightful B&B is 5 minutes drive from Clairemorris which has a bit more to offer than Knock in terms of places to eat and drink. Conway’s is nothing short of immaculate. We booked a room which did come with an en suite. Quintessentially Irish and if you’re coming from across the pond, then you will love it. (See tea cosy pic) Like most places in Ireland you will need a car. I had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon and hubby had full English. Very good value for money. 🤗
