Dewi Ayu is a fantastic budget option for staying in the heart of UBUD. It is a very pretty venue and the rooms are well airconed and clean. The pool is also very serene and a great place to kill some time and cool off. We have been twice and the staff have always been very helpful and friendly, always wearing a smile. Definitely recommend.

accommodations available with or without A/C, which I wasnt able to choose between while booking.  They had both options available during our stay, but we chose the rooms with ceiling fans vs A/C.  The guest house we stayed at, had been recently renovated and was more than enough space for a solo traveler.  This facility is cash only, so be prepared for that.  Free wifi available.  3 rooms for 3 adults for 2 nights was $74 USD.  You cant beat that.

Upon booking this property, I received an email asking if I would like a driver to pick us up and take us there. As we had a lot of luggage and were unsure about booking taxis we gratefully accepted. This was the best decision we made, as our driver Kadek, turned up promptly the next morning to collect us. He had loads of local knowledge and asked us what we had planned to do whilst staying in ubud. We told him, the usual- the waterfalls, rice fields, volcano trek, monkey forest and temples. Quickly he told us that he could transport us everywhere and drew us up an action packed itinerary with some added extras, meaning we could fit everything in that we wanted to do in the short 2 days that we stayed there. He couldn’t do enough for us and the prices he gave us were cheaper than anything we had found online! His local knowledge was invaluable as he walked us round the various sites giving us what was essentially a guided tour- he took us to great lunch spots as well!! Kadek is also a great photographer and took loads of photos and sent them to us! He went above and beyond, even organising our boat to our onward stay and brought us breakfast the morning of the volcano trek. The accommodation itself is beautiful, providing everything you will need with comfy beds, clean bathroom with lovely shower and great decor. Couldn’t complain about anything! We stayed at this beautyful hotel only two nigths. Enogh to fell in love with Ubud, Dewi Ayu and its impressing ambiente! The rooms are big, simple but clean. The family who lives and works there is very friendly. The owner was not even angry when we waked him up at the middle of the night. The service is marvellous and you even get your free, delicious breakfast served at the porch of our bungalow while surrounded by a amezing garden.

Fantastic Local UBUD Accomodation

Great Value, Great Location

 Great location, amazing staff and perfect stay

Beautyful Hotel and best Price, incl. breakfast service at the porch!

Average is a bit harsh. I'd say good. We stayed here two nights, it was a large room with a nice porch to have breakfast on. The room appeared clean at first but there was a bit of a problem with ants outside and after the second night I was glad to be leaving as they were making their way in! The staff were quiet, but mostly friendly and arranged our transport to Sanur for us. The breakfast is not the best but included in the price of the room so it is a good deal. Overall a decent home stay!
